HOMETOWN USA CALENDAR PAGE | with Traci
Hey everyone! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a 12x12 July calendar page made with the patriotic Hometown USA Collection. It's filled with the cutest images and a festive red, white, and blue color scheme that's perfect for the month. Hang it up to keep track of dates and events, then add it to your scrapbook as the first layout for July!
For the base, I used the blue jean sheet from the Rainbow Day Calendar Kit. This is part of the Day To Day Collection and features the monthly calendar pages, a pack of number stickers, and a pack of month stickers.
Since the July 4th holiday is celebrated with glittery fireworks, I wanted to add a little sparkle. So, I also used a sheet of 12x12 sugar coated cardstock in silver. I added a thin border of it towards the top, then created some photo mats with it and a few 12x12 prints.
Once the papers were adhered, it was time to decorate. I chose the July title, the Home Sweet Home banner, word bubbles, a few hearts, and some stars from the Chit Chat die cuts. Then, I filled in with lots of adorable mini icon stickers including the tiny fireworks, the dog in Uncle Sam's hat, and that sweet little parade.
I added number stickers to a lot of the days, but not every one since I wanted to make photo mats on some of them. At the bottom, I chose the "proud to be an American" Chit Chat die cuts and they fit perfectly in that narrow space. I hope this cute 12x12 July Calendar Page inspires you to create something fun with the Hometown USA Collection and the Rainbow Day Calendar Kit. Have a wonderful day and happy crafting! 😊

HOMETOWN USA ACRYLIC MINI ALBUM | with Traci
Hello friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a patriotic July 4th Scalloped Mini Album I designed with the Hometown USA Collection! It's just adorable and perfect for photos of the 4th of July and this year's 250th anniversary. It features a bright red, white, and blue color scheme, silver foil accents, stars, flags, fireworks, and lots of Doodlebug cuteness! ❤️
To start, I used my white 4.5 x 7.5 inch Acrylic Scallop Edge Album. On the front cover, I added the festive Summer Celebration paper. The fireworks pattern was perfect in the background. Then at the bottom, I used the Land of the Free paper that's filled with cute little hearts.
Next, I added a 3x4 card (from the reverse side of the Summer Celebration paper) and layered the matching Uncle Sam Doodle-pops directly on top. Look how cute! His tiny enamel eyes and buttons, that little red bow tie, and the silver foil details. Love him!
I wanted to highlight the scalloped edge on the covers, so I used a 1" circle punch and colorful prints from the 6x6 paper pad to decorate the front and back of each. The smaller scaled patterns worked perfectly.Inside, I covered the 12 white cardstock pages with a fun mix of 12x12 pattern papers. In the photo above, I used the front and back of the All American print. On the left, I added the Bits & Pieces clipboard (such a cute journaling spot!), then embellished with some enamel stars and a flag from the Old Glory shape sprinkles. On the right, I chose the adorable children from the Odds & Ends and added 2 enamel dots to the wagon's tires.
Here, I covered the page in the playful heart-filled pattern called I ❤️ America. Then, I made 3 photo mats out of the Land of the Free paper and added a two little Odds & Ends die cuts.
I love interactive pages, so these layouts are my favorite. On the left, I used the Picnic Plaid floral print in the background and created a flippie with a 3x4 journaling card from the All Stars paper. Inside, there's a pretty hot air balloon die cut from the Odds & Ends and space for 2 photos. On the right, I created a pocket page with the Red, White, and Blue and Polka Dot Pride papers. I decorated it with a few stickers from the This & That sheet, then tucked some colorful 3x4 cards into the pocket.
I hope my July 4th Scalloped Mini Album inspires you to create something fun with the Hometown USA Collection. Its colors, cute images, and patriotic patterns are perfect for highlighting your holiday pictures.

HOMETOWN USA SUMMER TRADITION LAYOUT | with Inessa
There's something so classic about a red, white, and blue color palette, and the Hometown USA collection makes it even more special with beautiful silver foil accents that add just the right amount of sparkle!
For this layout, I wanted to create a bold focal point, so I started by using nested star-shaped dies to cut several stars from the patterned papers in the 6x6 paper pad. To give them extra dimension, I layered each star with foam adhesive. On three of the stars, I added stitching using coordinating silver thread, which ties in perfectly with the silver foil details throughout the collection while adding a fun bit of texture.
I arranged the stars along the left side of a sheet of white cardstock and then created a playful background by using an entire pack of the star spangled shape sprinkles. They add so much interest while reinforcing the patriotic theme of the collection.
My 4x6 photo is matted with both white cardstock and the blue polka dot pride patterned paper to help it stand out from the background. I finished the page with title words from the Chit Chat pack, along with a few additional embellishments from the Bits & Pieces pack, including a tab, plus a banner from the Chit Chat pack to complete the design.
One of my favorite things about this layout is how quickly it came together! Every patterned paper you see was cut from the 6x6 paper pad with exception of the blue polka dot. It's a great reminder that you can create a layered, eye-catching scrapbook page using just the smaller paper pad and a few coordinating embellishments.
I hope this layout inspires you to pull out the Hometown USA collection and document your own favorite patriotic memories!
