OH WHAT FUN STOCKING MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity, and I’m back today with another fun holiday project featuring the Oh What Fun Collection. This is Project Four using this gorgeous collection, and I created an adorable Christmas stocking mini album with five pages, both front and back!
If you’d like to see how this album comes together from page construction to the final assembly, be sure to check out the process video on my YouTube channel.
I started by cutting all of my base pieces using my Cricut Maker.
    Stocking Base (White Cardstock):

Cut from 110 lb. white cardstock for a sturdy base
Size: 6.7 × 7.5 inches
Cut five total bases
Top Stocking Fold:
Size: 4.9 × 3.1 inches
I used the offset feature on my Cricut and set it inward
Inner Stocking Layers:
Size: 6.3 × 7.1 inches
Rectangle Layer on Top of Stocking:
Backing piece size: 4.5 × 2.7 inches
Patterned Papers Used:
8991 – Cookies and Candy
8994 – Twinkle Time
8992 – Christmas Tree
8998 – Here Comes Santa
8989 – Merry Christmas
Each page is filled with layers and dimension, mixing patterns throughout the album. The photo mats are designed for 3 x 4-inch photos, with white cardstock mats trimmed to 3.5 x 4.5 inches, backed with leftover patterned paper scraps from previous projects, making them perfect for using up extras. I used a mix of Odds & Ends and Chit Chats to add phrases and create cute little Doodlebug clusters throughout the album.
The ribbon on the cover is extra special; it came from Cynthea at Doodlebug as part of the packaging from a gift she sent me. (Thank you so much, Cynthea! You have the kindest heart.) Her ribbons are always beautiful.
On the cover, I added a Doodle Pop: “Santa On His Way”, featuring Santa on his little train, along with the Christmas Magic acrylic word and enamel dots to finish everything off.
I had so much fun creating this Christmas stocking mini album, and this collection made it a joy to work with. Be sure to check out the blog post to see my other projects using this collection, and don’t forget to visit my YouTube channel to watch the full process video.
Thank you so much for crafting along with me! See you next time!

OH WHAT FUN DECEMBER 25th MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and holiday cheer. Today, I have a fun new mini album to share with you titled December 25 that's packed with lots of cute goodies from the Oh What Fun Collection! It's sweet, colorful, and perfect for your holiday memories. ❤️

To make it, I created the album covers out of white acrylic but you could use card stock instead. The front piece is the number 25 and the back is a 6.5"x 6.5" square. I embellished the cover with 3 ahhh-dorable Doodle-pops titled Santa's Elves, Playful Pixies, and Deer Friends. Then, I added some die cuts from the Bits & Pieces and a bunch of fabulous puffy stickers from the icons and words.

Behind the acrylic cover are 12 scrapbook pages covered in cute 12x12 pattern papers. I love the print on the first page. It's titled Berry Christmas and has pretty flowers and holly.

Above, I created a fold-out page and added a striped pocket to the front flap. The pocket is a new die cut shape in the Bits & Pieces and has a cute circular cutout. I tucked the round Santa from the Bits & Pieces into the pocket and it framed his little face perfectly!

Inside the fold-out, I added the 12x12 Cookies and Candy plaid paper, a photo mat, and the stockings die cut from the Bits & Pieces. Did you notice all the toys, presents, and sweet treats in them? Such cute details.

On this page, I added the "All Spruced Up" paper and the Happy Holidays die cut from the Chit Chat. I love its scalloped oval shape. I also added some colorful tabs to the edge of the pages. They're from the Bits & Pieces and have words on them that say ... memories, traditions, and December.

Here, I made a round photo mat using a 4" and a 3.5" circle punch. Then, I created a flippie with white paper and a colorful sticker from the This & That sheet. I added the hot air balloon and stars from the Odds & Ends, and some of the Christmas Eve star shaped sprinkles for shine.

Isn't this pink Cookies and Candy paper pretty? I love the color and all the playful gingerbread. I used a 3x4 card from the Check the Halls paper to make a flippie and added a journaling card from the Merry Magic print inside. Then, a photo mat in the background and a sweet die cut finished the page.

The layout above is another fold-out with space for 4 pictures. On the front flap, I added a photo mat and the Santa's Toy Factory die cut from the Odds & Ends. Look how cute and colorful it is with the toys in the windows! And when you open it ...

... this page is inside! The adorable elf and the Christmas tree are from the Odds & Ends. I decorated the cute striped tree with a star, some colorful candy, and tiny dots from the puffy icons stickers.

A pocket is a great place to store extra photos and journaling cards. I covered this one in the Spot of Cheer paper, then added the blue Christmas Eve print in the background. I tucked some cute cards inside from the Merry Magic and Check the Halls paper.

❤️ the colorful string lights on this page! They're from the Chit Chat and to really make them shine ... I added some enamel Christmas Light shape sprinkles on top. I also made a flippie with the 3x4 Happy Holidays card. It's from the Merry and Bright print and the sweet Santa face is from the Odds & Ends.

I hope my December 25 Mini Album inspires you to create something wonderful with the Oh What Fun Collection. To see other projects I made with this adorable line, visit my Heart Shaped AlbumTruck Shaped Album or 12x12 Oh What Fun Layout.

OH WHAT FUN MINI TAG ALBUM | with Conny

Hello crafty friends! This is Conny from The Daily Life of Creativity, and today I’m excited to share my third project using the Oh What Fun collection by Doodlebug Design. This time I created a tag-style mini album that does not require chipboard. For my base, I used 4” x 6⅛” acrylic tags, but you can recreate this project with any tag shape or size you prefer. Even a smaller 3” x 4” version would be adorable.

I started by choosing my favorite patterned papers from the collection. The 6x8 paper pad works wonderfully for this type of project, but since mine was already used up from my first two projects, I worked with the 12x12 papers instead.

For the front and back covers, I used the Festive Flannel paper. The red flannel pattern is beautiful and works perfectly for a cover design. I trimmed it to fit the acrylic tags and adhered it to both sides.

Inside the album, I cut nine additional tags at 4” x 6” using a mix of the following patterned papers: Christmas Eve, Berry Christmas, All Spruced Up, Cookies and Candy, and Twinkle Time. Some of these repeat throughout the album, and you can flip them to keep the patterns flowing nicely.

Next, I selected a few colors from the Oh What Fun textured cardstock assortment. I trimmed these pieces slightly smaller, to around 5¾” x 4⅛”, so a decorative, patterned border would show along all edges.

Before adhering the cardstock matting, I added some interactive elements to the pages. I created small flip pages using 3x4 cards and tag shapes from the Snow What Fun, Deck the Halls, and Merry and Bright paper. I trimmed the cards and created flips that open to the left and right throughout the album, alternating direction for variety. I also added a few tag shapes between larger pages for more layering.

On one of the tags, I created a small pocket using a 3x4 card. I added hinges on three sides, adhered it down, and tucked in Bits and Pieces from the collection, including small journaling cards that are great for writing notes or adding extra photos.

To embellish the front cover, I layered three patterned papers measuring 3.5” x 5”, 3” x 4.5”, and 2.5” x 4”. On top of this layered base, I added the Playful Pixies Doodle-Pop, along with the small envelope Santa and two layered hearts in light and dark pink. The title “Merry Christmas” comes from the Oh What Fun Chit-Chat pack.

Inside the album, I embellished using puffy words, mini icons, puffy icons, Chit-Chats, Bits and Pieces, and Odds and Ends. I added small clusters throughout the pages while leaving plenty of space for photos. I also added a pink ribbon bow to one of the tags for extra cuteness and completed the entire album with enamel dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a look at my project. I hope it inspires you to create something fun this season. xo, Conny

OH WHAT FUN HEART SHAPED MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hello crafty friends! Traci here and today I'm sharing my new Merry Christmas Scrapbook designed with the adorable Oh What Fun Collection and my clear Acrylic Heart Shaped Album. This mini is so cute for holiday photos and would make a super special Christmas gift for someone you love! ❤️

Oh my goodness ... look at this cover. Doodlebug is just the cutest! To make it, I chose the 12x12 All Spruced Up plaid for the background, then added some colorful presents from the Odds & Ends on top. Next, I punched a 3.5" scalloped circle out of lily white card stock and layered the Santa circle die cut on top. It's from the Chit Chat. Then for a little holiday sparkle, I added some glitter enamel dots to the gifts and the Merry Christmas banner.

Inside, I covered each page in a different 12x12 pattern paper, photo mats, and more adorable embellies. Above, is one of my favorite prints called Cookies and Candy. I just love the cupcake pink color and the little gingerbread men!

The wreath and the "Santa Season" are both die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. If you look closely at the wreath, you'll see a pink star on the bow ... it's from the Christmas Eve shape sprinkles. I also added some ornaments with glitter enamel dots. Beautiful!

I covered this page in the other side of the All Spruced Up paper that's filled with colorful trees. Then, I created a photo mat using a 3.5" scallop circle and 3" circle punch by Marvy Uchida. The "sweet" little gingerbread is from the Bits & Pieces and the word bubble is from the Chit Chat.

Ohhhh, I love the string lights on this page! I used the 12x12 Snow What Fun paper in the background and created another photo mat. Then, I found 2 little red birds in the Odds & Ends that were perfect for holding up the lights from the Chit Chat. I added the enamel Christmas Lights shape sprinkles on top of each bulb, and now they're ready for the holiday!

No Christmas album would be complete without Santa and Mrs. Claus. To highlight them, I added the subtle polka dot pattern in the background called Here Comes Santa. Then, I added the cute couple from the Odds & Ends and another photo mat.

Doodlebug incorporated the fabulous bubble blue color into this collection and I am here for it! Just look how cute this 12x12 Christmas Eve paper is with its little winter snowflakes. It's so beautiful next to the flowers, holly leaves, and berries.

Also, did you notice the shiny snowflakes above? They're die cuts from the Odds & Ends and I added enamel sprinkles from the Snow What Fun shape sprinkles on top. They glisten!

This collection has such gorgeous colors and fun Christmas images. It's perfect for all your holiday papercrafts whether you make cards, scrapbook layouts, or mini albums like me! These products are sure to make you feel all the happy holiday vibes!

I hope my Merry Christmas Heart Shaped Mini Album inspires you to create something special with the Oh What Fun Collection. OH WHAT FUN MINI BOOK | with Niella

We've officially hit December! Welcome crafty crew, thanks for popping by today for more inspiration, creative ideas and jolly fun! As we countdown to the most magical time of the year, what are you in the midst of creating? For me, it's handmade mini albums and Christmas Tags. Let's get to it, have a hot cocoa or cup of tea at the ready for my blog post today.  Oh What Fun it was to create! And, as usual, my video showcase is at the end! Here you'll see the full album. Three cheers for mini albums!

How sweet are our cover elves! I pulled them from the Doodle-pops! How sweet do they look against a white binding and that doodle twine makes it look like a candy cane spine! I've rounded each corner on my 6x3 mini album! For the whimsical cover, I've used the Merry Magic paper, it's adorable!

Opening up the first page, you'll get a merry welcome from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Hi there sweet faces, thanks for welcoming us in today!  Don't you just adore this Twinkle Time paper! There's a fun tuck spot as well, for your sweet notes and mini memorabilia!

Several pages in, we come to a jolly socking page! I loved using these Odds n End ephemera pieces here.  You can fold back the stockings to spread out your pages! Isn't that fun! Add all your fave traditions & a note or two. And how darling is the pink patterned paper Cookies & Candy? It's totally delicious isn't it friend?

Over the page we go to another trio of cuteness! Are you feeling jolly yet? I am! The mini jewels added to the Christmas Tree adds dimension and sparkle! I love that you can just grab several packs of different colors and stick them on.  I've scalloped the edge on the cardstock as well, to give another added texture.  The Oh What Fun coordinating cardstock pack is always a favorite because it's already perfectly matched to the whole collection.

Another page over, is the beautiful and glowing page with the twinkle lights I've pulled from the Shape Sprinkles pack; Christmas Lights! how fitting they are.  That Christmas Eve word banner sticker from the This & That cardstock 12x12 sticker sheet is a fave! Another idea is to string some Doodle twine and adhere the sprinkles onto that for a fun festive feel!

How sweet do all the tabs look I've cut from the scraps I've saved from my Oh What Fun projects thus far! I bet you save your scraps as well! Saves having to cut into bigger sheets, right!  To make your own tabs, just fold a small piece of square paper and corner them.  Adhere to the outer page and add on a word sticker.  These are from the This & That sticker sheet and some from the 6x8 paper pad.

The back of my 6x3 mini album is decorated as well! The red mini polka dot paper is the Here Comes Santa paper alongside the ladybug and bubblegum cardstock. And of course, I use the DBD brand on all my projects.  Nothing goes to waste! And here is my video showcase with all the magical pages!

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle doo!
