LUCKY ME ALTERED NOTEBOOK | with Karen

I love making lists. I make them almost everyday. There is something so satisfying about getting all of those tasks crossed off and feeling like you have actually accomplished something!

So I decided to decorate up a plain little journal to capture more of my lists! Given how much I love Doodlebug, it seems like a match made in heaven.

It was actually this cute little Just Charming keychain that inspired the project. I wanted a reason to carry it around, and clipping it to the binding of the notebook seemed like a great option.

But is seemed so lonely on the notebook so I had the embellish it with some beautiful Color Me Happy 12x12 paper and a few die cuts from the All the Things pack. A few Sprinkles and a bit of Doodle Twine in Swimming pool added a little bit of texture to the front.

I also found some of these cute tags on the This & That Sticker sheet. I added them in about every 20 pages just to divide the notebook up a bit and to add a bit more Doodlebug colour!

Finally, I added a little sheet of Mini Icon Stickers into the back of the notebook. Because let's be real - the only thing better than a list is one embellished with Doodlebug stickers. This will be like a gift that just keeps on giving!

BERRY SWEET NOTEBOOK | with Miguel

I love working with Doodlebug products! With their beautiful designs and colors one can create endless projects. Today I made this very, very sweet notebook with the Berry Sweet collection.

I used the Berry Sweet Treats Doodle Cuts again, as I must confess they are my favorite product from this collection. I cut strawberries in two shades and placed them on my cover, decorating them one by one with puffy icons to give my project a more striking look.

The notebook is made of cardboard and covered with cardstock and embellishments from the Berry Sweet collection.  I used acetate inside to place some dividers in the notebook. Look how beautiful it looks!

FARMHOUSE NOTEBOOK & BOX | with Miguel

I really enjoyed working with the beautiful Farmhouse collection especially since I love autumn colors. Today I created this mini box similar to one I made before, but this time with a big surprise inside

I decorated the box with lots of embellishments from the collection including the Turkey Doodle Pop, which is just the cutest thing in the world. I also added some Chit Chats and Odds & Ends to help make my fun scene!

Inside I added a notebook that I decorated with papers from  collection.  I designed my cover in quadrants to give a fun effect!

On the spiral I added the pumpkin little charmer to give a special touch to my notebook.

HELLO AGAIN NOTEBOOKS | with Jen

I write myself lots of notes and lists and my favorite way to keep track of things is travelers notebook inserts! I have a stash of Doodlebug inserts and decided to make myself a couple of new notebooks using the Hello Again Collection.

First up is my reading log. I read a lot and a few years ago I started keeping a log of what I read during the year. I make notes about the books and keep lists of books that have been suggested to me. I also like to write down quotes from books.

On the front I added some coordinating cardstock and some patterned paper. I added the Book Club Doodle-Pop. Inside I did a little decorating on some of the pages with washi tape, list cut-aparts and Odds and Ends.

For my second notebook I made a household log. I used a couple of elements from the This and That sticker sheet and some flowers from the Bits and Pieces pack.

Inside I used the envelopes from the Cards and Envelopes Assortment to add a place for receipts and things inside the notebook itself.

LOTS OF LOVE VALENTINE'S NOTEBOOK | with Miguel

Making notebooks and receiving them is a thing that I love. It is always an excellent gift option and very useful. You can make notes or add photos, whatever you like!

I used the Lots of Love Collection and used a color scheme of blue and red. The closure of this notebook is something different that makes it unique and special.

To decorate the main part, I used the Mailbox Doodle Pop with the super cute letters. I also added the banner title from the Chit Chat pieces.

Inside I used the Chit Chat banners and stamp to frame the one of the tags.

FARMERS MARKET AUTUMN NOTEBOOK | with Miguel

Notebooks are always fun to embellish!  Today I have a notebook I created with the beautiful Farmers Market Collection. This notebook has a fun, original detail... the shaker which helps close the top and bottom of the cover!

The base of the notebook is made with gray cardboard number two. I love how the shaker frame, which contains small pearls and glitter, makes this notebook a unique and fun piece!

  

The sunflower Doodle Pop perfectly adorns the cover!  I also included small sprinkles flowers giving the project some brightness and shine.

I finished my notebook with a charm in the same shades of the collection.

FARMERS MARKET CUTE NOTEPAD COVER | with Lisa

Have you already seen the new adorable notepads from Doodlebug Design? There are two included in the new collection, Farmers Market, one for notes and one for grocery lists. I'm totally in love and that's why I decided to do a project using one of them.

My idea was to create a cover for my notepad, adding a few pockets to insert other notes, lists, tickets and photos.  To start, I cut out two big rectangles and a small rectangle, out of chipboard. I wrapped them with patterned paper and then used a piece of paper to combine all three. 

I used different papers for each part and also used different papers for the inside, in order to use as many patterns and colors as possible, from this beautiful collection.

What I also LOVE in this collection, are the flower dies. With those, you can make as many flowers as you wish. I used six colors of patterned papers in the 6x6 paper pad and cut out a bunch of flowers and leaves.

On the inside of the notepad cover, I used the bottom to attach my notepad and the top to add three pockets, and then added little lists and notes that I cut out from the cut-a-part paper sheet. 

I also added a little loop next to the notepad, to insert a pen. Then I decorated with my die cut flowers, using as many as possible.

On the top of the cover, I added a paper-pieced cat head and then added a lot of flowers and leaves too. I also used Sunshine alpha stickers to write a sentiment. 

To finish, I added a bunch of the jewels that I love so much! :) That's it guys. I love how it turned out and am excited to use it.  This would also make a perfect gift. :)

LOTS OF LOVE FEBRUARY ORGANIZER NOTEBOOK | with Miguel

Without a doubt, time goes by super-fast and we are already in the month of love so I am going to celebrate it in a big way.   Today I made this notebook to organize my month, I wanted to schedule all my plans and meetings with friends and many more activities!

I created my notebook from scratch, cutting gray cardboard including white sheets. I cinched it with We R' Disc Cinch. Personally, I think this tool gives my notebook an fabulous finish. I love it!!!  I then decorated with lots of embellishments from the the Lots of Love collection.

On the cover I used this beautiful phone from the Doodle Pops, I also included pieces from the Bits & Pieces pack to create a super cute scene and as always, I used sprinkles to brighten the project.

Inside, I created pockets to store letters or whatever you can think of!   I love this beautiful transparent separator using acetate that I embossed with a hearts folder, I then added washi tape and added even more with heart shape sprinkles.

I now have organized myself with this beautiful notebook!  See you soon!
