BEE HAPPY CASCADE MINI ALBUM | with Kathy

I love a mini album.  I love making them, filling them, gifting them....  As I was flipping though the Bee Happy goodies, I just knew they would make the cutest mini!  Take a peek...

For the base of my album, I used a cut file that I've linked below.  It creates a cascade card/album, that is interactive and fun.  I used some lily white cardstock from the coordinating cardstock pack for the base, and covered it with papers from the 6x8 pad.  I love the smaller prints in the pad, they work so well on smaller projects.

I made little scenes on each flip up page using pieces from the "all the things" pack.  I used some words from the this & that stickers and lots of fun shaped sprinkles.  I also included photo spots.  Here's a look at the pages as they flip up...

As a finishing touch, I added some doodle twine in lemon, citrus and swimming pool on my tag.  This little mini is perfect to hold photos of friends, littles... the special folks in your life!  I thought it would make a good gift for a sweet friend.

I put together a quick video short showing the album in action, because that is always more fun!!

That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

BEE HAPPY IT'S A BEE-AUTIFUL DAY MINI ALBUM | with Jen

For my second Bee Happy project I wanted to do something a little different. I've wanted to do a shaped tag album for a while and this collection is perfect!  I used the Beehive SVG from Farmhouse (I didn't realize the Bee Happy SVG files were live on Lori Whitlock's site!)  and sized it up in Cricut Design Space. I added an offset layer for my cover and a negative offset to mat my tags.

On the front I added the extra bee I had cut with the Busy Bee Doodle Cuts die and some more of his bee friends from the Icon sticker sheet. I used the sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet.

Inside I've added 3x3 photo mats and various stickers from the This and That sticker sheet, Icon stickers, and Puffy Icons.

I used one of the journaling cut-aparts from the collection kit and folded it to make it fit on one of my tags. I tied it closed with some Beetle Black Doodle Twine.

I also took some of the tag cut-aparts and folded them in half to make little flaps.

You can grab the SVG file I used here, or you can  grab the new Bee Happy files here.  Have a great day!

BEE HAPPY SWEET SUNSHINE MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Buzz right on in crafty crew, so happy to see you today! With only a few days left in June, let's get into it! I am so happy to show you my first Bee Happy project with the sweetest bee mini collection to date! This 6x4 mini album is chunky! There is so many pages I want to show you and point out, so instead of more than a dozen photos; just check out the video showcase at the end, yay! Videos are a perfect way to show you projects!

The cover is Bee-utiful! And so cute with the Bee Happy Doodle-pop! She's the queen bee and her busy workers are working hard to bring the pollen into harvest.  How sweet is the mushrooms and word stickers cluster!

If you're like me and ADORE yellow, greens and mint blues together, you are gonna love this collection. I love the pops of black and white! Super charming!  These first two pages feature a fun mix of the All the Things ephemera and This & That stickers!

I love to add machine stitching to my album pages. It adds extra texture and helps to add areas of interest.  Look how cute the collection's Honeycomb acetate looks with the cut-apart tag and honey-pie ephemera piece. Adding acetate and vellum pages add so much interest!

Skipping ahead comes to the last couple pages in my mini album.  How cute is that bee couple? A couple of cuties right there! The vellum holds the Busy Bee shaker pieces! Can you spot how I've cut around the honeycomb to give a fun edge for my tag tuck spot? Cute idea!

This last page measures nearly 6x4 and it's so sweet with scalloped vellum tuck spot! CUTE!  The sprinkles and stickers add that final touch.  I love making little charm pieces with the Shaker pieces.  If you'd like too see all the pages, I've added the video showcase below for you, yay!

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle day!

BEE HAPPY THE SWEETEST MEMORIES MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello Crafty Friends!! It’s Conny here today, and I’m so excited to share this adorable 4” x 5” mini album using the Bee Happy Collection.  This little album is packed with interactive flip pages, photo spots, and room for all kinds of embellishments! I also have a process video available for you to watch, however before you hit play, grab your cutting guide below and follow along!
Here are some assembly Instructions:  First, I started by wrapping the Chipboard.  I centered the chipboard pieces onto the back of the Sewing Bee paper, leaving about 3/4” around the edges and 1/8” between the spine and cover pieces. I love using my cover guide tool for perfect spacing. I mitered the corners and added double-sided tape along the edges. Next I folded and wrapped the paper inwards to cover the chipboard. I added the acetate before adding the inside cover, and adhered the 3” x 4” acetate piece to the bottom half of the front cover.

Next I covered the inside using a second piece of  Sewing Bee paper (4” x 9 5/8”) to neatly cover the inside of the chipboard.

To create the pages, I used the following:
• Front Page: Black cardstock 10” x 4”, scored at 4” and 5”
• Back Pages (2): Black cardstock 10 1/2” x 4”, scored at 5” and 5 1/2”

I added  double-sided tape to the spines of the pages and adhered each one into the mini album, starting 1/4” from the inside edge of the cover, stacking them to create a cascading effect. This will leave 1/4” on both the top and bottom of the spine area.

To matte the pages I cut
•  Patterned paper cut to 3 3/4” x 4 1/4”
• Patterned paper cut to 3 3/4” x 4 3/4”
Here’s the fun part: make it your own! Add photo mats in a variety of sizes based on your pictures, or add your photos directly to the pages. Then go wild with embellishments like: Puffy Stickers, Ephemera, Cardstock Stickers, Die Cuts, and more! TIP: Don’t be afraid to layer and create interactive elements like flips and pockets, it’s what makes these minis so fun!
I hope you love creating this sweet little album as much as I did. Make sure to tag me if you share your project, I’d love to see your take on it! Happy Crafting,Xo, Conny!

BERRY SWEET 3x6 MINI ALBUM | with Niella

So berry sweet of you crafty crew to pop around to see my fruity fun 3x6" mini album in today's blog post.  I get so many requests to make more mini albums and I must admit I am obsessed and berry happy to create each album.  So welcome, grab a refreshing beverage and let's go through today blog and stay tuned to the end where you'll see a video flip through. Yay!

How cute is the cover with the coordinating cardstock! Here I've used my pinking shears (3mm) to edge the three colors and don't they look like the tops of strawberries? I love this detail. This doodle pop suits perfectly, so berry cute!

The first page is a double spread straight from the 6x8 paper pad; the sweet life.  The house is stitched and houses (how fitting) a tag you can pull right out and add journaling/photo too.  Such a sweet detail. Can you see that branding strip logo on the house, just like a little awning.  Darling!

The next three double pages are just as cute! I've had so much fun stitching, layering, adhering, creating clusters, adding sprinkles, stickers and scalloping the edges and everything in between! If you zoom in, you'll see so many details.  Have you spotted the sweet mice with their scalloped strawberry cap? Too darling! Lots of dimension as well on each page.

Next I have created some tuck spots! These areas are perfect for berry special memories and photos.  I also loved created the little folded corners.  A good idea to show some extra darling papers at the back.  Hi cutie pie birdie!

The last two pages I've gone all out with the details here with the banner strips all stitched with three different colored threads to add texture and topped with the yummiest looking cake ever! How adorable! And, lastly the final pages have two tuck spots with embellished polaroid spots that pull right out and are ready for decorating.  And again with the cute scalloped strawberry cap on little miss Mousie.

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle doo!

BERRY SWEET LOVE THIS MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty crew! It's so berry nice to see you visit the blog today! I've handpicked a super fun and dainty album that I've created just for you for my first project with this mini collection! It's made with the new Berry Sweet collection and I hope you're going to love everything about this darling album! Be sure to read through to the bottom where there'll be the video flip through :-)

How stinkin' cute is this Strawberry Fields patterned paper! I love the florals and the sweet pops of strawberries so much.  Set against the pink and red cardstock from the coordinating cardstock pack and finished off with the Berry Bouquet Doodle Pop! The Sprinkles complete my cover, it's all so lovingly perfect!

When you open the hardcover you need to gather yourself over how cute the stacked pages look! Those puffy cupcake stickers and Sprinkles are yummy on the front page.  Under that is another berry sweet page with the Shaker polymer clay pieces that I've adhered onto a heart lock charm.  So many items with all the elements in this mini collection!

Next, I've skipped over a couple pages to come to these ones here, the All The Things ephemera with this delicious Ice Cream truck (it's pink, yay!) adhered on the daisy Acetate. The next page over is a patch work style page with strips adhered and machine stitched on.  Doesn't it look gorgeous! The tiniest scallop edges have been cut on the bottom as a sweet texture.

Skipping over a couple more pages, brings you to the end but before the end are these happy and joyful pages with the icon stickers and Shape Sprinkles! Hello yummy vanilla sponge cake topped with cream and strawberries sticker! Adore! I could talk all day about how darling this wee album turned out, but thought you'd enjoy the video more! So take a look and enjoy.
