SNOW MUCH FUN - HELLO WINTER LAYOUT | with Tarrah

If you’re looking for a fun winter project that lets you build your own miniature world, combining the Snow Much Fun collection with a whimsical snow globe cut file from the Oh What Fun SVG collection, then look no further! This layout brings all the cozy, snowy magic of the season to life.

I started by cutting the snow globe from several patterned papers in the collection. I chose the clear acetate for the “glass” portion and layered it with a bold purple frame to help the globe stand out against the white background. To add even more texture and movement, I filled the globe with tiny snowflake sprinkles. The result feels playful, sparkly, and full of winter cheer.

Inside the snow globe, I created a miniature winter scene using the adorable houses, trees, and icon stickers from the Snow Much Fun collection. The mix of blues, purples, and fresh greens gives the layout a lively, modern winter palette.

Some of the houses and trees are popped up with foam adhesive for extra dimension—because who doesn’t love a little lift on a scrapbook page?

The photo sits neatly in the lower right section of the globe, tucked behind a few layered trees to keep the scene feeling cohesive. Beneath it, a “Hello Winter” sentiment banner ties the whole theme together.

And of course, no Doodlebug layout is complete without enamel shapes, sprinkles, and a sweet coordinating twine bow at the base of the snow globe.

To ground the entire layout, I mounted the snow globe on white cardstock and then framed the page in a deep blue patterned paper base. The darker color adds contrast and beautifully frames the design, making the soft snowy elements inside the globe really shine.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug blog today! Hope you have enjoyed all the gorgeous Snow Much Fun inspiration by the design team over the last few weeks! Happy crafting!

HEY PUMPKIN GHOST WALL HANGER | with Jen

The Hey Pumpkin Collection has some of the cutest little icons! I have many favorites in this collection and it was hard to choose but I decided to make a little door hanger with the Hey Pumpkin - Boo Ghost! I used the SVG file available in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop to make this cute little decor piece. The little glasses on this guy are just the cutest!

First I cut three layers of black chipboard for my base using my Cricut.

I added small holes to each arm to thread my chunky twin through for a hanger. I tied it on the back side so that the body of the ghost hides it on the front.

Next I layered the pieces of my ghost. I used a grey base layer and then a white layer. There's also a small black oval that goes behind his eyes and little smile.

Next up, the glasses and banner. I cut the banner pieces from the 6x6 paper pad. I used foam tape to pop up the glasses. I also used foam tape to pop up the layers of the front of the BOO banner and then another layer behind.

And it's the perfect addition to my craft room for the spooky season!

Have a great day!

MONSTER MADNESS - MONSTERS IN THE CLOSET MINI ALBUM | with Jen

There might be monsters in your closet! Thankfully they're the super cute Doodlebug kind! This week I'm working with the adorable Monster Madness collection. I have always loved this collection and never had a chance to work with it when it first came out so I was THRILLED to get to use it for my project with week!

I have made a very simple 5x7 mini album. The inspiration for this project was the Odds and Ends pieces with the monsters and ghost peeking out of the door. I used the Monster Madness Haunted Door SVG File available in the Lori Whitlock shop  to make the door for the front of my album. Rather than cutting the same monsters I used the Mini Monsters, Boo to You, and Candy Monster Doodle-Pops. I added my Spooky title from the Chit Chat pack.

Inside are four pages, all with the same layout. I added a pocket to the front of each page and flap that I decorated like a door using the Monster Madness Solid Cardstock Pack. For doorknobs I used the Halloween Assortment Sprinkles. Each door also got a Chit Chat piece as door decor.

Inside each pocket is an insert that fits 4x6 photos. There are monsters from the Odds and Ends pack hanging out on the edge of each insert so it looks like they are peeking out the doors as you flip through the album.

On the last page of the album I added the Odds and Ends piece that inspired my album.

On the back of the album I couldn't help myself,  I build a little scene using some more of the Odds and Ends.

And of course I have a video walkthrough and full tutorial. I also have a free cutting guide on my website!

Have a great day!

MONSTER MADNESS PINK CAR MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hello everyone! Traci here and today, I have the cutest Halloween project to share with you. It's a pink car shaped mini album that I made with the adorable Monster Madness Collection and a spooktacular cutting file. It's titled Be Scary and it's a fa-boo-lous little scrapbook for your fun holiday photos.

Halloween Scrapbook Mini Album in the shape of a pink car with cute monsters, spiders, and stars

For the shape, I used the Odds & Ends die cuts as inspiration. I loved the pink car, so I chose the matching cut file called Monster Mash Pink Monster Car. I sized it to 8x6 inches and cut two covers out of white acrylic - but you could use card stock. Next, I chose the pink polka dot side of the 12x12 Mad Plaid paper for the car, the Petite Print Swiss Dot in pistachio for the rear window, and beetle black and grey textured solids.

Halloween Car Shaped Scrapbook Mini Album with cute monsters, spiders, and stars

The cutting file comes with monsters, but I chose to use some funny little die cuts instead. Then, I added stars from the Midnight Magic shape sprinkles and two enamel dots from the Halloween assortment. And those teeny tiny adorable spiders ... they're from two different Doodle-pops - Eek and On the Web. So cute!

Halloween Scrapbook Mini Album Page with cute monsters, a pink car, polka dots, and a colorful plaid paper

Inside, there are 12 white scrapbook pages that I covered in colorful patterns from the 6x6 paper pad. I added journaling cards from the 12x12 Stroke of Midnight print, more fun die cuts, and photo mats for my pictures.

On this page, I created a flippie using the spider journaling card. It has space for a photo inside, and one on the vibrant striped mat underneath. Aren't the colors in this Monster Madness collection fang-tastic? ðŸ˜‰

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with a ghost, jewels, a cute yellow monster car, a pocket, and journaling cards

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with candy, a ghost, a candleabra, and mini jewels

It wouldn't be Halloween without a few ghosts, so I added this cute die cut with it's candelabra. And to light his way ... I added a few mini jewels!

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with cute monsters, a yellow car, a pocket, and journaling cards

I love a good pocket for extra storage in a mini album. Here, I used the colorful striped Eye See You paper and tucked a couple of journaling cards and die cuts inside. The die cuts are white on the back, so you can add notes to them as well.

Check out this 6x6 paper filled with colorful little monsters. I added the Family die cut from the Chit Chat and more sparkle with mini jewels. What a cute way to highlight your Halloween photos.

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with a silly purple monster, little ghosts, a wagon full of candy, and bright colors

This purple blob cracks me up with his toothy grin, his happy lollipop, and his wagon full of goodies! To zhuzh it up just a bit, I added an enamel dot to the cupcake and mini jewels to his tires.

Whether you're a scrapbooker, a card maker, or just love creating with paper ... this Monster Madness Collection is so fun for the Halloween season. It's bright, whimsical, and filled with playful characters, pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, and all kinds of sweet treats!

BEE HAPPY IT'S A BEE-AUTIFUL DAY MINI ALBUM | with Jen

For my second Bee Happy project I wanted to do something a little different. I've wanted to do a shaped tag album for a while and this collection is perfect!  I used the Beehive SVG from Farmhouse (I didn't realize the Bee Happy SVG files were live on Lori Whitlock's site!)  and sized it up in Cricut Design Space. I added an offset layer for my cover and a negative offset to mat my tags.

On the front I added the extra bee I had cut with the Busy Bee Doodle Cuts die and some more of his bee friends from the Icon sticker sheet. I used the sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet.

Inside I've added 3x3 photo mats and various stickers from the This and That sticker sheet, Icon stickers, and Puffy Icons.

I used one of the journaling cut-aparts from the collection kit and folded it to make it fit on one of my tags. I tied it closed with some Beetle Black Doodle Twine.

I also took some of the tag cut-aparts and folded them in half to make little flaps.

You can grab the SVG file I used here, or you can  grab the new Bee Happy files here.  Have a great day!

BUNNY HOP HAPPY EASTER LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There is just something about Easter that I love so much, I think it must be the adorable bunnies and I mean who doesn't love the yummy chocolate eggs right!? The Bunny Hop collection is absolute cuteness overload and it is the perfect collection to document this gorgeous photo of my niece!

I picked a cut file from the Bunny Hop collection called Bunny Girl and cut out all the different pieces from different colored cardstock in the Bunny Hop coordinating cardstock pack. Once all the pieces were cut, I loved piecing the bunny girl together and love how she turned out!

I adhered her flat and slightly to the left to another sheet of white cardstock that I trimmed down so that I could add a colored paper from the Bunny Hop collection as a frame behind the white cardstock. Once the large Bunny Girl was placed I adhered my photo to the right of the cut file and began to build a sort of garden using embellishments.

On the hair bow I wanted to add something else, so I added a flower cluster die-cut and I also placed my title across the dress on the cut file. I LOVE Doodle-pops and used a few on this layout including the sun above the photo and the adorable chickens in the garden.

I used lots of die-cuts from the Bits and Pieces and Odds and Ends packs as the base for the garden and then layered some stickers over the top to add a little bit of dimension and texture. I love how this enhances some of the flowers on the layout a bit more. I also added the green border sticker from the This and That sticker sheet to the very bottom to replicate the look of grass.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have the Bunny Hop collection and can get some Easter memories documented using it! We would love to see what you create! Happy creating!

FARMHOUSE TRUCK SHAPED ALBUM | with Traci

Hi everyone! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a new shaped mini album that I made with the fabulous Farmhouse Collection and a Doodlebug SVG file. This one is a super cute pick-up truck that's filled with pumpkins, leaves, and a few adorable little critters. What a fun keepsake (or gift idea) for fall photos!

To make this, I chose the SVG file titled Truck - On the Farm (link below). I cut the base out of white acrylic, but you could easily create this with cardstock or chipboard instead. I used the solid cardstock in pistachio, petite print dot & stripe in pistachio, and the petite prints buffalo check / woodgrain in kraft for the main truck pieces.

Ohhh, so much cuteness piled in the back of this pick-up! First, I added solid cardstock in lemon for the hay, then the large die cut of 3 pumpkins from the Bits & Pieces. The mice, smaller leaves, and tiny flowers are icon stickers. And, the individual pumpkins and bees are from the mini icon stickers.

I added the turkey icon sticker to the front seat. Not only does he add great color, but he's also a wonderful symbol for autumn and Thanksgiving!

I printed our name and date, then added a few small enamel dots from the Fall Flurry shape sprinkles. I needed a door handle so I created one with the exclamation mark from the Puffy Alphabet Soup stickers.

Inside, I've covered each of the white cardstock pages with cute pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I love these smaller prints! I also added some fun flippies that I made with cards from the 12x12 Country Quilt print. Such a great way to add extra photos to a layout.

A fold-out page is another way to add extra space to a mini album. Above, I added a folding section with the Home Sweet Home card, and inside ... a journaling card from the Woodland Berries print.

What a pretty pocket! The leaves and flowers on the front are one long die cut from the Bits & Pieces. I added more inside the pocket for journaling and some cards that can be used as photo mats for extra pictures.

I love the cornucopia icon sticker on the page above. It may be small in size but it's super colorful and filled with shapes and patterns.

Aren't the autumn / fall colors in this collection beautiful? The Fall die cut is from the Chit Chat, the leaves are from the Odds & Ends, and the pretty tree pattern is called Autumn Orchard. Love, love, love.

I hope my Fall Truck Shaped Mini Album inspires you to create something wonderful with the cute Farmhouse Collection and Doodlebug's cutting files. You can use both for so many autumn projects. Have fun crafting!
