LUCKY ME SPRING ORGANIZER | with Miguel

Today I decided to alter this wooden organizer with the Petite Print Assortment papers from the Lucky Me collection. This collection is so cheerful and full of color, just like Doodlebug!  First, I painted the piece with acrylic paint and then cut chipboard and decorative paper to cover the structure.

I decided to use the beautiful rainbow, from the You are My Sunshine Doodle Cuts, to be the star of my project. I personally love cutting from Doodlebug cardstock and popping up with foam in the same color to give the pieces more life and movement; this creates a 3D effect and you'll love the result.

To give a more professional finish, I cut a very thin strip of cardstock to hide the foam  The thickness varied depending on the number of foamy layers cut.

For decoration, I used the All the Things and Puffy Icon Stickers that perfectly match the piece,

I love a unique and special piece that will look spectacular in my crafty workspace. I can put my markers and other desk tools in it.

Thanks for stopping by! Best regards.

BEE HAPPY ALTERED BOX | with Miguel

Bringing wooden pieces to life is something I truly enjoy. It allows me to further develop my creativity and achieve incredible results. And of course, always with the help of Doodlebug products. Look how beautifully I decorated this box with the Bee Happy collection.

I cut several pieces of cardboard and covered them with the different patterns from the collection. This way, I don't have to worry about which paper to choose, hehe. It's about alternating them throughout the project so that both stand out inside and

One of the products I used was the shadow box insert kit, since this time I made my own interpretation by placing it in the central circle of my box and I loved it.

I finished decorating with odds and gave it a harmonious look without overloading my project. I invite you to continue discovering how wonderful it is to create with Doodlebug. See you soon.

DOGGONE CUTE GUEST DESIGNER YUYU CAMPOY

We are very excited to welcome our guest designer Yuyu Campoy!  Her designs are amazing, and we know you will love them as much as we do!

I am so excited to be here today, thank you for inviting me, I hope this is not the last time, as my favorite brand without a doubt is Doodlebug Design! I identify with Doodlebug because their designs are full of bright colors,.. I love the colors and their cute designs, I also love to paper craft, I am a Special Education teacher and that is why I thought of creating this fun dog house with laminated cards with the Doggone Cute Collection, to work addition and subtraction operations with my students. What's great is these cards can be used as many times as they want because they are easily erased!

I used the puffy icons stickers for my cards, which were perfect because they have more than one element in each design.   I used the 6x6 plaid - polka dot rainbow petite prints for the background of each card. I love the result of each card, I'm sure the kids will like the texture of the stickers, the colors and what better way to learn... so much fun!

I painted and decorated a wood house where the cards are kept.  I used the12x12 paper pack from the same collection to cover the sides.  My main character is a good boy, the doodle pops always stand out for their dimension that's incredible! He says: all you need is love and dog and it's true, I also used Chit Chat pieces and Odds & Ends to embellish more.

I also included a card pocket from the paper pack, what do you think of the result&   I'll be back soon for more inspiration with Doggone Cute!

PRETTY KITTY PENCIL HOLDER | with Miguel

We continue this week with more Pretty Kitty projects! I altered a pen holder base using the collection to make a fun desk accessory, and I love the results!

I used the Pretty Kitty Doodle Cuts to create a sofa where a couple of kittens will rest!   I cut several layers of foam to give the 3D effect and create dimension in my project. Cool, don't you think?  I then covered the rest of the container with more patterned papers from the same collection.

The sides of the pencil container were decorated with pieces of gray cardboard that are covered in the patterned papers, as well as the base and the rest of the wooden piece.

And what is better than a Doodle Pop to add a sweet touch to my project!  I also decorated with Odds & Ends and Puffy Stickers.

Here I show you how my creations for the sweet Pretty Kitty Collection look together. It is an explosion of love and cuteness!

Until next time!

MONSTER MADNESS TRICK OR TREAT BOX | with Miguel

Halloween night is approaching and it's time to be prepared with nice decorations filled with lots of sweets. Today I share with you this altered wooden box previously painted with acrylic paint and adorned with the beautiful Monster madness collection.

The patterned paper designs and embellishments are so colorful and fun that they are easily combined with each other, see how beautiful paper eyes go perfectly with the monsters.

On the top I created a shaker frame to give my project more dimension and also more fun.  I used a monster doodle pop sitting on his sofa haha.

A very fun and useful way to use your washi tape is to place it on the edge of any piece. This will help you give your project more visibility and make it more creative, here I show you the back of the box.

Thank you as always for stopping by here, we continue creating things for you, hoping they will be very inspiring. goodbye!

SEASIDE SUMMER MINI ALBUM IN A BOX | with Miguel

Summer days are incredible and even more fun if they are spent with friends. Today I have a mini album inside a box to capture and remember those unforgettable days in Cancun.

First, I altered a wooden box and decorated it with the beautiful  papers from the Seaside Summer collection. I started by painting the box, then added some papers to cover and a beautiful shaker on the lid of my box, decorated with some mini icon stickers to make it even more fun.

Inside the box, I made a n accordion mini album which unfolds towards the box top.  I placed photographs of my incredible vacation moments on each page. I didn't want those days to end !

It was definitely an exciting trip,  full of laughter and lots of fun. Here are some of the photos with each of my friends in Cancun beach.

I hope I have inspired you to document your summer, using the fun new Seaside Summer collection!

MY HAPPY PLACE ORGANIZER BOX | with Miguel

I am a big fan of the houses in the My Happy Place Collection, so today I have a second wooden house that I altered using the collection.   The steps are very easy, I started by painting a wooden house with black acrylic paint.  Once painted, I selected the papers that we will use to give color and fun to my piece .

It's such a fun house, I had to decide how I wanted to use it.   In addition to being a nice décor piece, I thought it would also make a great organizer.  A perfect place for those of us who lose our keys, lol.  I even made a fun coordinating keychain using the new Bright Bouquet Just Charming clip & keychain, the ideal companion to my box!

I also thought that it would be a fun place to leave family photos and notes, to start our day off well, or as a welcome home after work... Cute don't you think?

I say goodbye for now, as always hoping you are inspired!  Thanks reading today!

MY HAPPY PLACE HOME ALBUM | with Miguel

My Happy Place is a beautiful collection!  Its designs, colors and the meaning that it transmits to me... home and family. I decided to use it in a beautiful wooden house with a mini album inside to document all those beautiful family moments. Wonderful don't you think?

For those who know me and follow my work know I like to alter wood pieces and give them my personal touch.  Today I'm playing with this cute little house... to give it a lot of color with the beautiful Doodlebug papers.

I painted the house black as a base,  and then I used papers from the 6x6 pad to cover the sides. I then created my mini album in which I incorporated pages, flaps and pockets to give it interest. Once the photos are added, they will look incredible!  I added of Odds & Ends to decorate further.

On the cover of my album, I made a shaker as the focus of the project using cardboard, acetate and eco-leather giving a lot of color to my project.

I also added lots of washi to the pages... I love how wonderful they look!

I say goodbye, as always hoping that my work fills you with a lot of inspiration. Thanks for reading see you soon!

LOTS OF LOVE VALENTINE BOXES | with Miguel

When the Lots of Love collection came out, I fell in love with all its designs, but there was one product in particular that caught my attention, the new Hello There! Doodle Cuts because with them you can imagine and create great projects!

I decided to alter some acrylic boxes, decorating them with a beautiful rainbow and this cute cloud, both cut with doodlebug cardstock. I glued them together with pop dots to give the 3D effect.

I added more decoration with the shape sprinkles, since it totally gives shine to the project.

On the top I added a bow and as a tag, the beautiful envelopes cut using the new Love Notes Doodle Cuts, then knotted with twine thread.

These boxes are perfect for packaging a Valentine's Day gift. Thank you as always for stopping by, see you soon.
