BUNNY HOP HELLO EASTER LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Easter just passed, so it's time to document your memories in style using the cute Bunny Hop collection.  The colors, icons, designs are just perfect for all those happy memories, and also the ones featuring the bright Springtime colors.

I wanted to take advantage of the cards  in the Chickadees paper; so, I cut out  a few of them and then using a craft knife made sure to take the icon/sentiment from the center of the cards, so that they remain as frames.

Using foam adhesive, I adhered the frames to the Pistachio Floral Graph Petite Print paper, then  framed the entire paper with the Bunny Hop papers.  The inside of the "frames" provides perfect spots to add embellishments, the key was to balance the placement of all the embellishments and sentiments.

I placed the photo on the center frames, as I wanted to make sure that I could add the title next to it and fit it all in to balance the page, completely.    A few embellishments in a cluster at the top right corner of the photo help with the balance of the layout.

I loved having  small little canvases in each of the frames, I thought of the grid as a small gallery wall.  This was an easy to way to place the frames so that they follow a soft pattern on the layout.   To finish the page, I used some mini jewels in some of the frames and clusters to complete the spread.

I love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires you to use the new Bunny Hop collection for your next crafty project.

It has been a pleasure to share some ideas on how to use the beautiful Doodlebug Design collections with you all for the past years, but I have to take a break from the team, as I concentrate in family. I cannot wait to continue seeing what you all create! XO

BUNNY HOP EASTER EGG LAYOUT | with Traci

Happy Thursday, friends! Easter is just a few days away, and today I’m sharing a fun 12x12 layout created with the adorable Bunny Hop collection. This might be one of my all-time favorite Doodlebug collections.  In fact, if you’ve been following along on Instagram or Facebook this week, you know I’ve been sharing “Five Days of Bunny Hop” all week long, and today’s layout is Day 4!

For my background, I started with the pretty Spring Sprouts paper and layered a piece of white cardstock in the center. I love fitting several photos onto my layouts, so I added four photo mats using the Carrot Patch paper along the left side of the page. Behind the photos, I tucked in a piece of the May Flowers accent paper. Those colorful flowers are absolutely gorgeous and definitely my favorite pattern in the entire collection!

Above the photos, I layered a few tags from the Easter’s On Its Way sheet, then added a doodle twine bow and a few flowers from the Bits & Pieces pack.

In the lower right corner, I used two scallop stickers from the This & That sticker sheet to create a sweet little border. Then I added lots of colorful eggs, a fun Chit Chat title, and a few Hello Spring Shape Sprinkles for just the right amount of shine. And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a trio of the adorable Springtime Peeps Doodle-Pops scattered around the page!

My favorite finishing touch might be the Easter egg garland on the right side. I created it with three rows of twine and hung tiny Odds & Ends Easter eggs from pop dots. It looks just like a cheerful little Easter banner—and honestly, now I think I need a real one hanging in my house too. So cute!!

I hope this page has inspired you to create something fun with the Bunny Hop collection! Happy Easter everyone!

BUTTERFLY KISSES LOVE MY PEEPS LAYOUT | with Erica

Hi crafty friends, it’s Erica here and I’m thrilled to be on the Doodlebug blog today sharing my very first layout using the brand new Butterfly Kisses collection. This collection is packed with color, cuteness, and springtime vibes, everything I love in one place.

For this page, I used one of the new cut files from my shop featuring a background of sweet bunny silhouettes. I backed each bunny with patterned papers from the Butterfly Kisses 6x8 paper pad. The smaller prints are just right for backing cut files like this and make each little bunny pop with personality.

Once the file was backed, I added foam adhesive behind the whole thing to bring in some fun dimension. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 11.50 by 11.50 and layered it on top of bubblegum cardstock, then added that onto the Garden Party patterned paper for a soft and colorful base.

I printed four 2x2 photos and matted them with coordinating cardstock cut to 2.25x2.25. I arranged them across the layout, nestled into the bunny rows! I kept the embellishing light so those colorful bunnies could really shine. Just a couple of clusters on either side of the photos using floral odds and ends, a few hearts and butterflies, and a small tab detail at the top of one photo as a finishing touch.

I love how bright and happy this page turned out and I hope it inspires you to get crafty with the Butterfly Kisses collection. Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug blog today. I can’t wait to share more soon!

BUNNY HOP HAPPY EASTER LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so happy to share a layout featuring the Bunny Hop collection. This is one of my favorite collections and I couldn't wait to work with it again. The colors and the adorable icons are absolutely perfect. Especially for this time of year. Here's my layout:

I really wanted to have a soft pink base for my layout so I chose the Blush cardstock from the 12x12 Coordinating Cardstock pack.  I trimmed down a few strips of paper using the Everything Easter, Bunny Hop and Spring Sprouts patterned papers. I stacked and adhered them together and had the vertical strips more towards the right side of the layout. The horizontal strips would become a base for the little scene I wanted to make. But before I got to work on that, I tied some of the white Doodle Twine across the vertical strips.

Since I chose the grass patterned paper (Spring Sprouts) it was the perfect foundation for the little scene  I built using the Bits & Pieces and Odds & Ends packs. I layered the floral pieces in the background and then added the bunny piece and Easter basket right on top, making sure to pop both up on foam tape. I also sprinkled in a few of the eggs from the Puffy Icon Stickers. They're so cute!

Next, I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and arranged them in the corner where all of the paper layers intersected. It was the perfect spot for them. I layered a notebook paper piece from the Bits & Pieces pack underneath them and then added my journaling to it. My photos are of a little photo shoot I did of my Annie girl last year. I can't believe how much she's changed this past year!!

I added that adorable hot air balloon that was from the Odds & Ends pack and popped it up on foam tape. I found the "Happy Easter" banner in the Chit Chat pack and decided it would be the perfect title for this layout. And what a great place to put it!!

To finish things, I sprinkled a few of the small flowers from the Puffy Stickers pack around the page and then included a few of the cute eggs from the Colored Eggs Shape Sprinkles pack. I love how this page turned out and hope that you love it too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!

HOPPY EASTER | Layout with Tegan

What do you get when you pair the Doodlebug Design Hoppy Easter Basket of Flowers cut file with the Hoppy Easter and Simply Spring collections? A basketful of cuteness - that's what! The cut file and these collections were perfect for helping me document the yearly yard full of Easter eggs my mother-in-law puts out for us to find on Easter morning!
Don't let the number of cuts of this design overwhelm you. The Doodlebug Design cut files have all of the different sections colored in, which makes it super easy to keep the pieces organized. I simply grouped all of the parts together by color and then cut out each color group. Assembling and then 'filling' the basket was so much fun!
I used the Petite Prints Stripe patterned paper in Bon Bon on the basket to give it a faux wood look. I used Doodlebug cardstock and patterned papers from the Hoppy Easter collection for my flowers. I used Doodlebug Design cardstock and the Petite Prints Floral paper in Bumblee on the bow. Sprinkles add even more cuteness! Once my basket was complete, I added the adorable bunny, carrot, and radish Odds & Ends pieces. How cute is that little bunny sitting in the basket?!
I finished off the layout with the rainbow wheel This & That sticker, more Odds & Ends pieces, and a couple Icon Stickers. I can't get over how cute that little bunny hopping through the grass is!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use a large cut file with the Hoppy Easter collection on your next layout!

HOPPY EASTER | Layout with Caroli

In our family everyone loves chocolate, so Easter is one of our favorite holidays. Last year, my little boy was big enough to understand what was happening so for the first time he joined his big sister on the egg hunting!
I love all the patterns in Doodlebug Design collections, they are gorgeous, but some times they might seem too busy to be used as a background... I was determined to use this fabulous patterned paper as background, so I solved the problem by cutting a bit of space using one of the cut files of this collection:
I used the file Easter Bunny #2 to create some space for including my photos and journaling, and of course I used a good amount of embellishments as well from the Odds&Ends and Shape Sprinkles packages. If you're trying this, a good idea is to use the sewing machine (or hand sew) around all the cut shape, this way you make sure the white background is properly adhered to the patterned paper and also it gives a nice effect.

I journaled about the happy memories of these photos and included a big title I cut using my electronic cutting machine and free font Learning Curve.
I am so satisfied about how this layout came out, it displays the gorgeous patterned paper but it does not look overwhelming or too busy. Thank you for stopping by today with us, have a lovely day my Doodlenug friends!

SIMPLY SPRING | Stamping on Layouts with Tegan

Ever since Doodlebug Design released their new stamp sets, stamping on layouts has been my new favorite technique! I had so much fun creating the jelly bean background using the jelly bean from the Hoppy Easter stamp set. And I couldn't wait to use the entire Hoppy Easter collection to document my niece's time with the Easter Bunny!

Stamping the random jelly bean pattern was so easy and I love the whimsical design it adds! I used Odds & Ends pieces and Icon Stickers to embellish this section. Did you find the little purple ant Sprinkles sticker in the grass?

Seriously how cute is this little hopping bunny? He might be my favorite! I created this part of the title using the Tangerine Skinny cardstock alpha stickers and an Odds & Ends banner piece. And of course I used lots of Sprinkles to embellish my page!

I really wanted to emphasize the word 'bean' so I used my die cut machine to supersize it using fun patterned paper backed with a solid cardstock. I finished off my layout with the chick Odds & Ends piece and of course more Sprinkles!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to stamp on your next layout!

I pulled out my sewing machine for this one and added lots of stitching to all of the different paper layers on this project. Jana Eubank Doodlebug Hoppy Easter Easter Eggcitement 2 900 The Odds & Ends pack is my Go To Doodlebug product! I LOVE all of the different elements and always enjoy building scenes on my pages with them. On this page, I added a garden scene for this cute little Easter bunny to hang out in. I pulled in some bees from the Simply Spring Little Critters Shape Sprinkles so he would have some pals to munch on his carrots with. Jana Eubank Doodlebug Hoppy Easter Easter Eggcitement 3 900 I used the "Easter" Chit Chat die cut for my title along with the Bubblegum Teensy Type alphabet stickers. A cute chick peeking out of his colorful egg shell is ready for the Easter "Egg"citement! Jana Eubank Doodlebug Hoppy Easter Easter Eggcitement 4 900
I always love adding a bit of sparkle to my layouts. This time I brought in the Birthday Girl Assortment Glitter Sprinkles and added them in a few places around the page.
