SNOW MUCH FUN DISC MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty friends! Wow, hasn't the start of the year gone so fast already! Let's jump right in with a hot beverage and a pair of your fave cozy slippers  as I bring you my fourth project revisiting the super cute Snow Much Fun collection by Doodlebug Design! A disc-bound mini album! This 5"x3.5" sweet mini album is sure to please! I have a video showcase at the end to show all the pages, so read through and I'll see you at the end.  Bonus!

The front cover was made with the Let it Snow heavyweight acetate from the collection.  It's perfect as it features snowflakes galore! I love how when this mini album is closed up, it gives a peek-a-boo look.  And how cute it looks from the first page.  The scallop edges give it great texture and the staggered tier style pages make flipping the pages so easy! 

Hi mister Yeti! How cute you! This page needed no other elements he was perfect enough on his own! Look how snug his fur looks and his adorable face, SNOW cute! I love the look of the pages beneath.  From this view you can see each page peeking out.

This next page has the adorable snow fox from the Icon Stickers and is on a stitched page. Stitching adds a quick and easy texture to any page and I love stitching on this All Bundled Up patterned paper! The BRRRR word sticker adds the final touch. Let's flip through some more precious pages!

I love popping in tuck spots! They're so important to add to all albums, sometimes you get some paper bits and pieces that you'd like to include in your memory making like a sticker from packaging or a torn piece of fabric or how about a tag from some clothing you just brought! 

I decorated both sides of my mini album pages. there are lots of spots to document all the memory making.  You could add in some mini photos and you have a perfect gift! I love using stickers as ephemera pieces.  The Icon stickers are a perfect size.  I always try to fit as much of each Doodlebug collection as I can on my projects, there is just SNOW much to create with!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - WINTER WONDERLAND ALBUM COVER | with Traci

Happy New Year! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a fun winter scrapbook idea using one of the brand new 6x8 Mini Albums. When the design team was asked to create a project with them, I was thrilled. I'm a mini album girl and use these binder albums all the time. They are fabulous and come in 14 beautiful colors!

Today, I'm explaining how I designed this album's cover. Then, in future posts I'll be sharing the pages inside.

For my album, I chose the swimming pool binder. It's one of my favorite colors. Then, I decorated it with the adorable Winter Wonderland Collection making it the perfect keepsake for your snow-filled memories.

To start, I covered the white section of the front with the 12x12 Just Chillin' pattern paper. I love all of the cute little snowmen.

I wanted to create a winter scene so I cut a snow hill out of lily white card stock and adhered that on top.

Next, I chose some adorable die cuts from the Odds & Ends to decorate. I tucked the cabin and 3 different tree pieces in behind the snow. Then I adhered the snowman, the reindeer, and the tree on top. I also added the word bubble die cut from the Chit Chat.

I had the perfect white ribbon with aqua dots so I tied that around the front cover and into a big bow.

On the album's spine, there's a bookplate that's perfect for reference. I added a small piece of the Just Chillin (stripe) paper inside. For an extra fun detail, I attached the Just Charming Clip and Key Chain from the Snow Much Fun Collection to it for the perfect finishing touch.

Look how cute! These 6x8 inch photo-safe Mini Albums are so much fun to create keepsakes with. Their quality is amazing and I love that they come in so many pretty colors that coordinate perfectly with ANY Doodlebug collection. I also appreciate their white covers making them super versatile.

SNOW MUCH FUN MINI BOOK | with Kathy

I'm back with another project using the absolutely marvelous Snow Much Fun collection.  The colors in this collection are my absolute favorite!  I decided to make a fun little flippy mini album to hold all those fun winter photos!  Take a peek...

 

I create the album cover using chipboard and covered it with papers from the collection.  My covers measure 4.75"h x 4"w  and my spine is about 1".  I decorated my cover with a little snowman shaker.  I used the Snow Cute Doodle Pop, and some of the new Heavy acetate along with some Doodlebug sequins for the shaker bits.  I added snowflake sprinkles both inside the shaker and on top for some dimension.  The album title is a banner piece from the Chit Chat pack.

Inside the album are three multi-folded pages I made using the coordinating Snow Much Fun Textured Cardstock.   They all fold out to make plenty of room for photos and journaling.  I got the idea for these pages from this video.

Once I had all my pages in place, I set to decorating them!  I started by covering each of the sections with patterned papers from the 12x12 collection kit. I then added photo mats on some of the pages and decorated them all using various Icon Stickers, This & That Stickers Odds & Ends, Chit Chats, Bits & Pieces and shaped sprinkles.  Here are all the pages pulled out so you can see all the fun embellishments.  

I love how the folded pages give you plenty of room to document all your winter memories!  Since I think it's more fun to see it all "in action", I made a flip through video so you can see more!

SNOW MUCH FUN MINI ALBUM | With Traci

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing my latest mini album that I designed with the adorable new Snow Much Fun Collection. With the winter season upon us, I'm loving these cool colors. They're so pretty and lots of fun to work with! My favorite is the rich blue jean color with the pistachio and sea glass. 

To create this scrapbook, I used one of my 4.5 x 6.5 inch Tall Acrylic Albums in white, but ... I only used the back cover. For the front, I cut the 12x12 Let It Snow acetate to size and used that as my top piece instead. I love all the little snowflakes and the transparency of it.

I made a cute snow scene on top by layering a 3x4 card with diagonal stripes, the 6x6 Happy Together snowflake print, white card stock cut to look like snow, and some sweet icon stickers.

Inside, I added 20 white card stock pages and covered each one in a colorful pattern paper from the 6x6 pad. On the fold-out page above, there's a great little journaling card from the Cold Streak paper, some snowflake die cuts from the Bits & Pieces, and inside the flap ... a cute purple house icon sticker!

I used more of the snowflake acetate to make a scrapbook page. With the "let it snow" tab from the Bits & Pieces, it's a perfect spot for winter photos. And do you see those cute little snowmen just behind it?

There they are! And, I stand corrected ... one is a snowman. The other is a snow-woman. Her pistachio bow and scalloped waistline are adorable!

Here's a fun pocket page filled with a 3x4 card and die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. I like to use the back side of the cards as photo mats. And since one side of the die cuts are white, they're perfect for handwritten notes and journaling. 

I just love all the sweet little winter characters in this line. There are penguins, polar bears, a fox, snowmen (and snowwomen!), a seal, birds, a rabbit, and ...  

... Harry, the handsome Yeti, is back! This Snow Much Fun Collection is snow much fun!! I loved creating this mini with all the pretty colors, winter themed papers, and cute little faces. They will surely highlight your fun winter photos!
