HELLO AGAIN HOT AIR BALLOON MINI ALBUM | With Traci

Hey guys! Today, I have an acrylic mini album to share with you that's shaped like a hot air balloon. I used the colorful Hello Again Collection which is not only filled with fun pattern papers, embellishments, and gold accents but ... it also inspired the shape of my album with one of it's adorable cutting files!

To start, I enlarged the cutting file to about 6x8 inches. I cut the covers out of white acrylic but you could easily use white card stock or chipboard instead. I chose the coordinating Hello Again solid card stock for the balloon, the Patchwork Plaid for the basket, and some gold paper from Bazzill.

The sticker on the balloon is from the This and That sheet. The saying was perfect but it had a bicycle on it, so ... I made a small mat to cover it and added the sun, clouds, and heart from the mini icon stickers. 

Inside, I created 6 white card stock pages and covered each one with a fun 12x12 pattern paper. I punched out two circles (3" and 3.5") for photo mats that fit perfectly into the shape of the balloon. I used 6x6 pattern papers for some of these.

I decorated each page with die cuts from the Odds and Ends, Chit Chat, and the Bit & Pieces. I also added some enamel shape sprinkles like the flowers, the butterfly, and the gold leaves above. They're so pretty!

I wish the photos showed off the metallic gold details a little better. On this page, I added a hanging plant from the Odds and Ends with some tiny gold flowers from the Hello Beautiful shape sprinkles. I love how they reflect the light when you turn the page.

Here, I added a cute pink clipboard and yellow gingham circle from the Bits and Pieces. These are great for small photos and/or journaling. Perfect for listing names, dates, ages, locations, or events. 

I just "LOVE" this page with that pretty Patchwork Plaid paper. So colorful!

HELLO AGAIN CAMERA SHAPED MINI ALBUM | with Jen

One of my favorite things to make is shaped mini albums. Doodlebug SVG files just make it so easy!

For this album I was inspired by the Pretty Picture Doodle-Pop to create a very simple camera shaped album.

And of course I had to put a shaker in that lens!

The album is ring bound and has several 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" pages, along with two pages made from the heavy weight gold dot acetate.

I filled it full of my crafty friends. We are scattered all over the country but get on Zoom together most weekends and manage to meet up at retreats a couple of times a year.

HELLO AGAIN YOU MAKE ME SMILE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Have you seen the super cute camera elements in the Hello Again collection?! I just love them and knew I wanted to create a project to feature them! I chose the Hello Again camera cut file and cut each piece from the Hello Again Coordinating Textured Cardstock pack using my Silhouette Cameo machine. I added my photo to the centre of the photo, I love how this looks!

Once the large cut file camera was all pieced together, I adhered it to a plain piece of white cardstock using craft foam underneath. I trimmed down the white cardstock to measure approximately 11' x 11' and adhered it to the 'B' side of the 12' x 12' Green Thumb paper. I also adhered a piece of the Green Thumb paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad underneath the camera, I like the pop of green.

At the top of the layout I placed one of the scalloped border stickers from the This and That cardstock sticker sheet. I also chose some of the smaller stickers from the same sheet to add to the top of the camera and I added the pink tab sticker on the left hand side.

I absolutely LOVE the Little Charmers and could not resist adding the camera from the Pretty Picture set, I threaded it on to some of the new mini twine color in Mint. I added a yellow die-cut butterfly to the left of the photo and also added one of the gorgeous Gold Enamel Dot Sprinkles on top of the camera. I chose my title to be the 'You Make Me Smile' die-cut piece and adhered this below the camera using a mixture of craft foam and regular adhesive.

I tucked in lots of the gorgeous floral die-cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack both top and bottom of the camera and also could not resist adding the Pretty Picture Doodle-Pop to the right of the cut file camera. I also tucked one of the scallop circle die-cuts and the gold rectangle journal spot both from the Bits and Pieces pack too. Lastly I stamped the date stamp of when the photo was taken.

Hello Again Mini Album | with Jen

I love mini albums. I also love 6x6 paper pads but I often don't know what to do with them. So today I have a mini album that is matted almost exclusively with the 6x6 Hello Again paper pad.

But before I get into that - shakers. I LOVE shakers! I was so excited to see that the cut files for Hello Again are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop. I used the little TV cut file make a fun shaker for the cover of my album.

There are 4 pages total in this album. The outside is 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" with a 2" spine. The pages are all 6" x 6" with lots of flaps and pockets.

I also used the Saving All My Love Shaker Pop and a magnet to make a page closure.

And finally I decided to use a scrap of the Gold Dot Heavy acetate with a Chit Chat piece as an embellishment.
