February is here! And that means all things sweet and lovely are around us. So what better way to document those loving memories with the beautiful Lots of Love Collection. I love the colors in this collection, and play with a fun idea for this layout
I wanted something that was going to show contrast on the page. So, I cut a half circle from the Hugs & Kisses paper, then folded the cut down to create the flap on the page.
To create the contrast, I cut a circle of the same size from the teal xoxo side of the Lots of Love paper, and glued it to the flap. I then added two eyelets to bottom of the flap, and used Doodle Twine to hold hold the flap together. Those cute snails from the Doodle Pops were the perfect addition at the end of the twine.
I used Petite Prints to back the empty space, then framed the layout with the teal cardstock from the texture cardstock coordinating set.
I set my photos to the left of the empty half circle - these were framed with a paper from the 6x6 paper pad-. Then it was all about embellishing... I took advantage of it all to create a cluster to the right of the photos, so that they curl into the flap.
Next, I created a cluster at the left side of the flap. Here, I added my title using a piece of Chit Chat and a few extra embellishments.
A few sprinkles, and the small flower garland at the bottom of the flap complete this page. I love how it all turned out!! Remember to check the Lots of Love collection!! XO
