I❤️TRAVEL CUT FILES CARD | with Kathy

The I ❤️ Travel Cut Files are now available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop!  As soon as I saw the Cell Phone File, I knew I had to make a card with it!  It's just too cute!  I decided to make a shaped card with a sweet sentiment...take a peek...

I pieced it together using papers from the I ❤️ Travel, Dot Stripe Petite Prints and Floral Graph Petite Prints Collections.  The speech bubble with my sentiment is from the Booville Cut Files Collection.  To complete the card I added a Sprinkle for the home button and a heart sprinkle from the My Happy Place Shape Sprinkles.  This would be the perfect card for a good friend, or even as a thank you note!

School Days Flip Frame Mini Album | with Tya

Hello and welcome! I am still on my Mini Album kick- I hope you all don't mind me sharing yet another album with you! The School Days collection is just TOO much fun! I can't stop! So this time around, I kept things a little more simple and chose to do one of my favorite types of mini albums. These flip frame albums using the awesome Tolsby frames from Ikea are so handy! I love keeping these albums just out on my shelves for people to enjoy! I chose to do a little album documenting kindergarten through sixth grade. This is meant to add a small photo from each of the school years. Imagine how fun it will be to look back on how quickly your kids grow up over the years! The base pages of the album measure 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches.  Here are the close-ups of my album:

 This page has a flap that lifts up. I added the dot paper with a piece of washi tape so  it will flip up like:

This! Washi tape is great for adding flaps to your album pages!

I❤️TRAVEL INTERACTIVE CARD | with Karen

Okay, here's the thing. I love interactive cards! I love making them and I love receiving them and although they do take me a little more time on the creation end of things, I am never disappointed with the results! So when Doodlebug released the I❤️Travel collection and I got a look at all the adorable vehicle stamps in the let's getaway doodle stamp set, I knew there was going to be an interactive creation (or two or three) on the crafty table soon.
Where better to start than with the adorable camper van stamp? I coloured it up with alcohol markers to match some of the papers from the I❤️Travel and then used the matching die cut set to cut it out.    
Then I simply started placing the van down and started planning my little sceneI grabbed a craft knife and created a little path for my camper van, covering my pull tab with the adorable road-themed washi tape (one of my favourite washi tapes of all times)! And then for a little hidden surprise, I masked out and layered some of the heart shapes from the stamp set to create a little exhaust cloud that is revealed when the camper van moves. It's a simple concept for an interactive card, but one that comes together really well for all sorts of occasions!

So get out those stamps and get them moving! This set of doodle stamps is full of possibilities for interactive cards and I can't wait to see what you create with them!
