SCHOOL DAYS Teacher Planner | with Anabelle

As a teacher, I was thrilled to receive the School Days collection. It is absolutely darling and perfect for me to use all year long! I immediately pulled out my Ladybug Daily Doodle and got to work setting it up. I decided that this will be my school planner for the year. I have a lesson planner, so this will be my teacher planner. As you can see, it will be perfect to have it sitting on my desk. I plan on grabbing it for staff meetings and using it for notes that I take during trainings and/or conferences.
The first thing I did was create covers for my inserts. I love the papers that are in the kit. I cut them down to 10" by 8.25" and made flaps that hold them in place on my inserts. I am using a monthly calendar, and two blank inserts. These will serve as my note taking spaces. I love adding trim to the edges of my insert covers. It makes the side game on my TN so fun! This time, I added some paper clips that I made from the crayon Doodle Pops. I love how they look peeking out of the side!
Next, I set up my August calendar. I plan on using the calendars for my school commitments. Since there isn't a lot going on until the end of August, I was able to do a lot of decorating using larger elements here. I love adhering some of the die cuts from the Odds and Ends pack. I also used Icon Stickers, the Abigail font stickers and our new Rub On, which was so easy to use!
I decorated the front of my first insert using the die cuts and new School Days Headline Collection Sticker set. I love the way it looks against the --- paper. I added some of the elements using foam adhesive. This really gives it some fun dimension.
Finally, I decorated my front pocket. I always love finding the perfect accessories to do this. The die cuts, sprinkles and stickers look perfect. I used one of the large stickers from the This and That sheet. I created more clips from the Doodle Pops and tucked them in here, too. Doesn't it make you smile to open up your planner and find something so cute?
I'm really excited to use my school planner all year now. This is clearly going to be one of my most loved and well used collections!

FRENCH KISS Daily Doodles Pockets and Dashboard | with Anabelle

Ooh La La...French Kiss has made it's beautiful way into my Ladybug Daily Doodles Traveler's Notebook and I couldn't be more excited! They are a perfect couple. Today, I am sharing my front pockets and dashboard. The red polka dots on the notebook are a wonderful match for the Paris inspired theme of the collection. I love how they look together.

I love making tags that I can tuck into the front pocket of my Daily Doodle. I love how the pockets are wide enough to accommodate so many fun goodies. I decided to use this collection to make tags that I can use to decorate my TN pages. They are perfect to use as bookmarks. I also like having little tags on hand in case I want to give one away or leave a little note for someone. Tucking them in the front of my notebook ensures that I always have one on hand.

The Doodlepops are perfect for tag making. I used a combination of those and some of the die cuts to decorate the tags. Using foam adhesive, along with the Heart Throb Shaped Sprinkle stickers gave these tags so much dimension and made them look so fun tucked into the pockets.

To create my dashboard, I wrapped a piece of the Petite Fleur paper around my insert, leaving a bit leftover to fold around the covers. (It brought me back to my book covering days when I was in school.) I added some trim to the edge and then picked a few of my favorite die cuts and chit chats. Isn't that little guy flying the plane adorable? I adhered them to the cover of the insert with some foam adhesive and added more heart sprinkles for texture.

As you can see, French Kiss was perfect for decorating the inside of my Daily Doodle. The colors and sweet motifs are adorable and make me smile every time I open it.
