BUNNY HOP EASTER PILLOW TREAT BOXES | with Karen

Well, we may have had our usual March snow storm this last week up here in Calgary, but I am ready for spring. So, if I cannot have green grass and fresh blooms outside, you better believe that I am going to have them on my crafty table!

And what better collection to do that with than the adorable and colourful Bunny Hop! With Easter just around the corner, this is a perfect time to grab this collection again and create something fun and Spring-like. I opted for some pillow boxes from Lori Whitlock to brighten my day.

To make these pillow boxes, I used the 12x12" patterned papers from this collection. I cut them at about 5.5" high so I could get two on each sheet of paper. What is really fun about these pillow boxes is the little peek-a-boo window in the design. The Easter Dots acetate sheets that coordinate with this collection are the perfect way to seal up that window and add a fun design element. I just used a bit of liquid adhesive on the inside to hold it in place.

With the amazing designs and colours, these little boxes didn't need to much embellishment. But I always love adding a little mini jewel here and there for a bit of extra sparkle. I love that they actually play up on this polka dots on the acetate as well!

I am not sure if these are going to be an addition to the Easter table for just a fun little surprise along the way, but in the meantime, they are the fun spring vibe for my crafty space that I was looking for. I hope they bring a smile to your face too! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

BUNNY HOP SHAKER EASTER TAGS | with Conny

Hey there, crafty friends! You're in for a treat today as I show you how to make these lovely shaker tags using the Bunny Hop Collection and the Bunnies and Chicks Shakers!

I started by cutting out four tags measuring 3"X5" each from the 6"X6" paper pad and also cut out some acetate. After that, I used my sewing machine to stitch them together, but left the top open so that I could add the Bunnies & Chicks and Spring Flowers Shakers inside. It was such a fun and creative way to add a little extra charm! Once the tags were filled, I stitched them closed.
At the bottom of the tags, I added a cute pom pom trim and ribbon to give them a little extra flair. These tags are perfect for adding a little bit of something extra to your springtime crafts, such as handmade cards, journals, or even gift tags.
I used the lovely bunnies from the Bunny & Friends Doodlecutsfor my project. I decorated two bunnies with Mini Icons, Doodle Pops, and Mini Jewels. I also added flowers, eggs, and chickies behind the bunnies to create a cluster and used foam adhesive for dimension. To finish them off, I added a bow at the top with tulle. I'm excited to see your tags using the sprinkles and the Bunny Hop Collection."

XO, Conny!

BUNNY HOP STAMPED EASTER CARDS | with Karen

Today, I got out my markers. It's been awhile - I am not exactly sure why except to say that there were so many other goodies from Doodlebug to work with that my stamps took a back seat for awhile. But the new Bunny Hop stamps were just so darn cute that there was no way that they were not making an appearance on a project! So I give you the revival of my markers with an adorable card set featuring the new Bunny Hop Stamps!

Tada! I know - now you can see what I am talking about, right? How could I not devote some time and energy to these cuties?

Two adorable bunnies and a darling chick together with a host of background items like a tree, eggs, grass and a happy sun! The combinations with this set are endless. I teamed them up with the coordinating Cards & Envelopes and some of the 6x6 patterned paper. I used some of the die cuts from the Bits and Pieces set for some added layers and patterns.

And then I topped it all of with some of the amazing Bitty Beans - Shape Sprinkles. I love them! It actually looks like I have just spilled some jelly beans on the front of the cards. It really is a fabulous, fun addition to the cards.

Well, I have absolutely no regrets on this project and am so glad that the stamping tools came out of the crafty cupboard. I loved every minute of working with these projects and I hope they brought a smile to your face too!  Thanks for stopping by!

BUNNY HOP EASTER TREAT HOLDERS | with Guest Designer Shara Crane

Hello, its me Shara Crane. I'm back with another fun project using the Bunny Hop Collection.  This time I created some fun little treat boxes!  Take a peek...

Follow these steps to create some too!  I started with some fun cut files, I've linked them below.

Step 1. I used my electric cutting machine to cut my treat boxes. I used a variety of  Bunny Hop papers for each part so each panel was different.

2. Before you fold and glue all the sides together if you’re going to use your sewing machine now is the time to do so. If you have a window and want to make it a shaker be sure to do that BEFORE you build the box. Just cut a pieces of paper a tad smaller than your cover, add dimension tape around the shaker window on the inside of the box, put your sequins into the window part and now add that cut piece of paper to hold all the sequins in. Now you can assemble your box/es.

3. Decorate your box/es. Use all the goodies you wish to make your box/es even cuter!  I used some Doodle Pops,

4. Now stuff you little box/es with whatever you wish.  What is your favorite candy??

Have a great day! xoxo

BUNNY HOP EASTER BASKETS | with Tarrah

Are you ready for the Easter Bunny? In case you aren't I have a cute Easter basket project you can make for the littles! These are just so super cute and so easy to make too! You can download the free file here. I highly recommend printing these out, tracing the design onto some baking or tracing paper. You can then transfer the design onto whatever paper you like. Please note that the light blue lines are fold/score lines. Use a scoring tool for these parts for ease of folding them into shape.

I am lucky enough to own a Silhouette Cameo machine and was able to convert the file from PNG to SVG and then add it in my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition. I was then able to change the solid light blue lines to dash/dotted lines to create a perforated line so that these parts may be folded. My Cameo machine then cut these out exactly as I needed them too!

Choose some of the gorgeous papers in the Bunny Hop collection to cut for your baskets.
Once you have all of your baskets cut out you can begin to assemble them. Simply fold the perforated parts and glue the scallop pieces behind the middle piece. I used a small clip until the glue was dry to help secure these. I love how you can see the detail in the folds once they are glued together! Once both sides are done, you can go ahead and attach the long handle in the same way. I did attach the handle on the outside though as I knew I would be covering up the joins.

Once you have constructed your baskets, start decorating your baskets using some of the gorgeous embellishments from the Bunny Hop collection! I used the border stickers from This and That stickers around the tops of the baskets. I also added some Doodle Pops and Shaker Pops to each one - aren't Doodle Pops the best?! I love them so much! On top of the handles, I also added a word/phrase sticker and some small stickers. On the rabbit one, I also added some of the grass puffy stickers underneath.

OMG the cuteness is too much! I just love how these turned out! I hope you will give these a try using the Bunny Hop collection! You will not be disappointed!

I filled each basket with some thin wood shavings and of course some Easter Eggs too! These will make great little gifts for my work colleagues!

Thank you so much for stopping today! I hope you get to create some fun and cute Easter projects using the gorgeous Bunny Hop collection!

BUNNY HOP CARROT HOUSE BOX | with Jen

Easter is on it's way and with it I have a fun off the page project for you! I used one of the Bunny Hop Carrot House SVG's available in the Lori Whitlock shop to make a fun shaped box.

The overall project measures about 7 1/2" wide and 8" high. The box is 4" x 7". I used my Cricut to cut all my pieces for the carrot house. I used a mix of solid Doodlebug cardstock and Petite Prints.

Instead of cutting the flowers that are part of the file I used the Hello Spring Shape Sprinkles in the little window boxes. I popped some of them up for added dimension. I added some pieces from the Chit Chat pack for decoration. I also used one of the border stickers from the This and That sticker sheet.

I finished it off with Tangerine Chunky Twine to cover the raw edges of the chipboard and give it a more finished look.

The tutorial of how I size and prepare the file to do an off the page project, along with the assembly tutorial, can be found here.  Have a great day!

BUNNY HOP FLOWER CART MINI | With Traci

Hello my crafty friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a new mini album I made that's shaped like a little flower cart! I designed it with the adorable Bunny Hop Collection and it makes a perfect keepsake for your spring and Easter photos. Or ... a super cute gift idea if you're feeling generous! 😊

To make this, I started with one of my clear Acrylic Horizontal Mini Albums. I cut out 4 circles for the wheels and adhered them to the front and back covers with tiny clear glue dots. You could also make this out of white card stock or chipboard.

Next, I covered the wheels with floral die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. Then, I added some boutique buttons in bubblegum and a bit of twine in bumblebee. Now these wheels are ready to roll!

Just inside the cover on the first page, I added the 12x12 Easter Basket plaid. Ohhhh, how I love those pretty colors. Then I embellished with flowers from the Bits & Pieces, bunnies from the Odds & Ends, a banner from the This & That sticker sheet, lots of enamel Hello Spring flower sprinkles, and ... some mini jewels from the Easter Assortment. It's all so pretty.

On the backside of that page, I used a playful 12x12 polka dot print called Spot of Spring. Then, I added two photo mats and adhered the matching die cut pieces back-to-back to the ones on the front side.

Here is a darling folding page that I covered in the fun little green Bunny Hop print. I added a few more photo mats, a sweet bunny die cut from the Odds & Ends, and the "You're my honey bunny" from the Chit Chat.

Who loves jelly beans? I do ... especially on the colorful Bunnies & Beans pattern paper above! It makes such a cute background for the clipboard journaling spot (from the Bits and Pieces) and my photo mat.

This little plaid basket full of flowers is adorable. I added another mini gem for tiny bit of sparkle!

My last page has a great little pocket that's perfect for storing memorabilia, extra photos, or ... journaling cards. I added 3 cute ones from the Easter Basket print and on the front - die cuts from the Chit Chat, Bits & Pieces, and Odds & Ends.

I've been having so much fun playing with the Bunny Hop Collection and I know you will too! I hope this mini album gives you some ideas. Until next time ... happy scrappin' everyone!

BUNNY HOP EASTER TREAT BOXES | with Karen

Here comes Peter Cottontail, Bunny Hop-ping right onto my crafty table! Can I just tell you how much I love this collection - the colours, the cute icons, the combination of florals and patterns. It really is adding a spring into my crafting and I can't wait to share all the fun with you. So let's get to it!

Boxes-1

I know that Easter is a very special time, but I have to admit that I am a sucker for all the treats. Creating fun little treat containers is one of my favourite projects for the season.

Boxes-open

For today's project, I created little boxes out of the 6x6 paper pads. The great thing about these boxes (besides the yummies inside) is that you can actually make 4 for every 12x12 sheet of paper if you want to go that route instead!

Publication1

I created a little cutting and scoring guide for you (black lines are cut lines and dotted lines are fold lines). Add a little adhesive on each of the 3-1" sections on each side and your box will come together just like that!

Closeup-1

I embellished each one with a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack and some cute die cuts from the Odds and Ends pack. With a few Sprinkles to add some shine and a bit of ribbon to hold the lid down (I may have stuffed a few too many candies in them) I was all set.

Boxes-2

I think these would be really cute as place setting identifiers on your Easter breakfast or dinner table too. Or imagine a little Easter basket filled with them to give to the people you love! Actually, who cares what you use them for - just go make some and you can figure out all of that later! Thanks for stopping by!
