BEE HAPPY BEE PENCILS | with Miguel

Once again, the Busy Bee Doodle Cuts were my favorite product from this Bee Happy collection, and the bee design is absolutely gorgeous.  I decided to cut them out and assemble them to hang them on some pencils that were the perfect design for this collection.

I created two designs, cutting each piece from the Bee Happy Coordinating Cardstock. I love the array of colors that are available.

I cut several layers of foam to give height to my pieces.

Decorating and bringing pieces to life is something I really enjoy doing because it allows me to let my imagination run wild and create unique pieces. Here are some of my favorite products, such as Odds and Puffy Icons.

I particularly liked this idea as a nice, unique, and very original gift. The pieces are hung with a chain so they can be used later on another object.

Have a great day!

MONSTER MADNESS CHARMS | with Miguel

What would Halloween be without monsters?  Especially if those monsters were as cute as Doodlebug's Monster Madness monsters!  Today, I have some fun monster charms to use in a Halloween album or as a decorative accessory.

These monsters were made with the new Party Animal Doodle Cuts.  These cuties are easy to make.   I used  Doodlebug Textured Cardstock for the layers and also some foam to give then some dimension.

The charm is made with beads in different shades and designs to give a lot of sparkle and color to this project. Everything is crimped together with jewelry findings.

Thank you for stopping by today.   I hope as always my work will inspire you when creating with the beautiful Doodlebug products!

FUN AT THE PARK SURPRISE BOX | with Miguel

The Fun at the Park Collection was a great surprise!  As soon as Doodlebug released it I fell madly in love with its designs!   I am a big fan fan of Mickey and all his friends, HAHA! With this collection we can create an endless number of fun thematic projects, don't you think?

For my first project, I came up with the idea of creating a surprise box as the title of the post says. Here in Mexico, the place where I live, charms or pendants are very fashionable, we make them with different materials and place them on the spine of our scrapbooking notebooks or mini albums.

The box I made is to store my charms or it also can be used as a gift or happy mail for a friend.

Inside the box are divisions in which to store various materials, such as color chains and product beads that can be used to create the charms.   The box is decorated with the Fun at the Park collection. The shaker charms are created with cutouts of Mickey and Minnie from Silhouette.

I love using the coordinating petite prints to create bases for these silhouettes.

I say goodbye as always hoping that my work will fill you with a lot of creativity and inspiration. See you soon!!
