Christmas Town Layout | with Anita

Hey Doodlebug peeps,
Merry Christmas and happy holidays I hope everyone is enjoying being with family
And all the kiddos are have lots of fun on holidays ... it’s been a bit warm here in Queensland Australia and my little kitty loves laying in front of the fan chilling out and he always looks so cute.

I started my layout using pretty snowflakes layering over it with my white cardstock
Machine stitching around the edges then next using a pretty blue patterned paper and and my cameo to cut out the
Stars from the silhouette store design id 236947
After it was cut out I added the star design to the left hand side and machine stitched a line down the middle to hold it in place

Next I added layers of patterned paper behind my photo from the petite prints dots and stripes 6x6 and the Christmas Town 6x6 and a Lily white doily

Then using the diecuts from the odds and ends and chit chat pack I added part of my title and a few snowflakes
Around my photo along with a sticker from the this and that sticker sheet

Using a bit of patterned paper from the 6x6 Christmas Town and some twine I created a tag to tuck underneath my photo layers

I then added a cute little Christmas tree doodle pop to the side of my photo just overlapping the photo and snowflake diecut. I wanted to add the cute little hearts from the icons sticker sheet
And to finish off my layout I added my title underneath my photo

this is my last project for Doodlebug, I’ve had an amazing time playing with all the beautiful bright and fun products and I hope you have enjoyed all my creative inspiration.

Christmas Town Layout | with Anita

Not long now!! Who’s excited for Christmas Day?...
I know my daughter Eve is excited, she wants a new phone but what teen doesn't want some form of technology!!! I thought for this layout I would create a Christmas woodland with Christmas trees and little animals.
I started with white cardstock as my background
Then using my cameo I cut out a cut file I had Designed with Christmas trees and a snowy hills
Backing it with ho ho ho and Christmas Town patterned paper
And I decided on using the deer again because of the deer in the photo
you can find the christmas Town cut file collection here at Lori Whitlock's Shop
or at the Silhouette store

And for the snow I used the lily white floral-graph and the opposite side I cut out the snowflakes for the top of the layout then I added the festive flurry shape sprinkles to add in the center of the snowflakes
I layered leftover scrap bits of patterned papers behind my photo.
Then using the stickers I added little animals in the trees and underneath and using the odds and ends and chit chat pack diecut pieces on my photo and around the trees , I also added a cute little deer doodle pop in between the 2 big trees .
Then using Ladybug Abigail Stickers I create my title
Here is my process video

I hope you have enjoyed my inspiration today!

Christmas Town Mini Tag Album | with Anita

Hi Doodlebug peeps it’s not that far away now till Christmas, who’s excited for the festive season.
The Christmas Town collection is just perfect for creating those beautiful Christmas crafts or just scrapbooking your favourite Christmas photos.. for my project today I decided to create a mini tag album
I went and chose all the patterned papers I wanted to use for the mini tags and cut them all out then once I had them all machine stitched together I wanted to add a deer from the Christmas Town cut files I decided on the deer for my cover tag. I used kraft card stock that I cut out twice and added pink for her mouth and ears and black card stock for her eyes and nose then glued them together so all the little pieces I add where on the inside between both cuts then I coloured her hoofs in black with a pen and the antlers in gold then a little cute heart sprinkle for her cheek them popped it up on double sided foam tape and added it to the middle of the tag then I started embellishing the album with doodle pops and die cuts from the odds and ends and chitchat pack

I punched out little circles and turned them into hole reinforcers
Then using the 6x6 paper pad I add spots for photos and little extra bits of patterned paper to add more texture and colour on the backs of little pockets I made using the treat bags , brads and twine

With some of the die cuts I punched holes and added them on the ring that binds the album together
I also added a few little hidden pockets that you will see in this flip through video

I hope I’ve given you some festive inspiration .

Christmas Town Layout | with Anita

Are you totally loving this fabulous Christmas collection, I’m so in love with this little deer it’s totally cute but everything about this collection is totally adorable and I really love the colours and patterned papers.
Each year we would go and take photos on Santa’s chair in the shopping centre as our youngest daughter was terrified of Santa and would non stop cry so this was the best idea to get that happy Christmas photo.
I started off by cutting out a Christmas tree shape with my silhouette cameo with 3 separate parts that I could layer on top of each other and using my fringing scissors I added a fringe along the bottoms of each part of the tree and layered them all and machine stitched each layer then adhered them together and on the background
Then I was thinking I need a bit of colour at the top of the layout so I cut a strip of patterned paper then using the border stickers from the this and that sticker sheet and put them across the bottom of the patterned paper strip then adding a few little die cuts from the chit chat pack then machine stitching across the middle of the sticker
Then I mattered my photo on patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad then added it to my card stock just tucking it under the edge of the tree. Then I started adding die cut pieces from the chit chat and odds and ends pack until I was happy with the placement of each piece then it was time to add the title I used Xmas for part of my title from the chit chat pack and the rest of my title from the this and that sticker sheet.
Then to finish the layout off I add a little heart sticker to the deers cheek
and a few stickers from the mini icon stickers

I hope you have lots of fun with this cute collection

Pumpkin Party Cut Files Layout | with Anita

How fun are the new pumpkin party cut files they are just super cute aren’t they!
I decided on this cute photo of my guinea pig Pip in a pumpkin that I took when my girls were little they loved dressing up the guinea pigs and taking photos.

Here are the cute cut files I used on my layout

I started off by add some of the border stickers and a strip of tangerine floral petite prints to the top of my white cardstock then using my silhouette cameo I started cutting the pumpkin out using the floral graph petite prints and layering the cuts together then I added coloured thread doing hand stitching. then I added my photo using the pumpkin party 6x6 paper pad patterned papers to layer behind my photo and decided I needed something across the bottom of the photo and pumpkin

Using my silhouette cameo I cut the fall leaves from the flea market cut files
I cut one set bigger then the other to layer them then using coloured thread I hand stitched around the leaves and added them across the bottom of the pumpkin and photo

To add more colour I added the cute little doodle pops around the leaves
And a few diecuts from the chit chat pack and the odds and ends pack and to finish it off with a little ghost cute clip and some shape sprinkles

Pumpkin Parry - Bootiful Fun Layout | with Anita

Who’s enjoying all the fabulous Halloween creations using pumpkin Party?
I always enjoy the fabulous colour palette with Halloween patterned papers, so bright and fun.

I wanted to try something different using twine and mini googly eyed peg bats that I made
I’ve also created a process video on how to make them yourself!
My idea for this layout was to have the twine like a string of lanterns
that the bats were holding in the air and to have them holding my photos as well.

I used brads to hang the lanterns and twine for the added colour
and dimension along with the coloured sprinkles.
I fussy cut around the ephemera pieces from the Odds and Ends pack
to take away the white border around them. This is always a personal choice as to whether you want to use the white edge or take it off. It really depends on your project at the time.
I decided on the cute little person with the mouse as he seemed a fitting match to my photo.
My title 'bootiful fun' was selected from the 'Chit Chat' pack.
I've created a process video of how i created my layout
