Hello friends! Erica here with you today sharing a fun 12x12 scrapbook layout using the festive Gingerbread Kisses collection!
We love all things gingerbread in our home so baking gingerbread cookies is a must every year! The kids all love to decorate the cookies and they are each so careful and icing them!
The Gingerbread Kisses collection is perfect to document all our gingerbread adventures from baking and decorating gingerbread cookies to building our gingerbread houses! I started my layout with a really cut digital cut file I found online! This cut file is a layered cut but I decided to back some of the pieces like I would a normal cut file and then added in a couple of the layered pieces that come in the digital file!
I used some of the 12x12 Gingerbread Kisses Solid Assortment cardstock for some of the layers of this cut file and to back some of the smaller pieces. I love the quality of the Doodlebug textured cardstock and highly recommend picking up the assortment packs to match the collections!
Once the cut file was backed I added foam adhesive all over the back of the file and adhered it to a piece of white textured cardstock that I trimmed down to 11x11. I matted this onto 2 different pattern papers from the Gingerbread Kisses collection.
I did not want to cover up any of this beautiful cut file so I added my photos to the center of the page. I knew I wanted to keep the embellishments light because the wreath was full of gorgeous Doodlebug colors!
For my title I used the Gingerbread chit chat piece and placed it at the bottom of my photos. I also used the gold Alphabet Soup puffy stickers for part of my title. To finish off the layout I added sprinkles all around the layout and added my typed journaling under the title.
