Summer by Melinda Spinks
Doodlebug co-ordinate their products so that they have a base set of colours that are used for each collection along with embellishments etc. So when the task was set to mix and match from one collection to another it felt that anything and everything went together so I decided to simply grab a bit of this and a bit of that and 'go for it'.
Supply List: Colorwheel - Fancy Florals, Pocket Full o' Posies; Cut Outs - Classic, Santas Workshop; Cake & Icecream - Fun Fetti; Petite Prints - Bubblegum, Lilac, Limeade, Swimming Pool, Tangerine; Glitter Cardstock - White Rainbow Dot; Headlines - Summer Time; Headlines - Summer Time; Candy Shoppe Mini Rubons - Beetle Black; Chunky Brads - Bright Assortments.
Sketch Book by Nancy Damiano
I need a place to keep all of the design sketches I jot down while I'm out and about. I cut this file folder with a die cutting machine using Petite Prints patterned paper. I decorate the cover with mini polaroids and some of my favorite patterns. The Boutique Brads added just the right touch and still kept my project simple and easy to carry around.
SUPPLY LIST: Boutique Brads: Nifty Notions. Paper: Petite Print Swimming Pool, Colorwheel Pocket full o' posies, Hometown, Window Box. Hopscotch Alphabet in Swimming Pool. Jack & Jill Rub-ons in Beetle.
You & You by Sherry Cartwright
One of the signature and timeless design elements of Doodlebug Design is their rainbow of colors. While some manufacturers tend to change their color palette with trends and from year to year, Doodlebug keeps its color choices consistent. The same rainbow of colors that were chosen years ago are still the same, with some additions, as when the company started. THAT makes it super easy to mix and match products easily. It always matches!
