CHRISTMAS MAGIC PLANNER PAGES | with Jomelle

Have you been naughty or nice? I can honestly say that I have been good most of the time this year.
I would like to share my planner set up in my Bubblegum Daily Doodles Travel Planner with the Christmas Magic Collection.
I just love looking at the side view of my TN. I love all the layering and all the embellishments that makes my TN complete.
 "Pocket Love"
I added the twines to hold the ornaments pieces which gives it that 3D look. I also scattered some adhesive enamel dots sprinkles.
Dear Santa....I have been good most of the year. It's the time of the year where kids enjoy writing letters to Santa and making their list. The gifts aren't the most important thing about it but the joy and the excitement when creating a wish list. It's also the surprise of whether my kids will be receiving what's on their wish list.
Last year, I created a fun way to keep my kid's wish list in my TN. I decided to create another one this year. I started of by cutting different 12x12 papers in the size of the insert. I also picked papers from the 6x6 pad that I just folded in half and stuck in between each papers.
I cut the 12x12 double sided paper with a bunch of tags so my kids can write their wish list in the back. I punch a hole and added the pink twine so that they can be easily pulled out.
I decorated each page with odds & ends, stickers and washi tape. I also used some square adhesive label pockets to hold the tags where my kids wrote their wish list.
You know me, I love layers and layers. I just started layering papers, tags and stickers to decorate each pages.
There are also plenty of space in my pages to add pictures and journal entry later on.
Wouldn't it fun to go back through the years when your kids are older to show them their wish list while growing up? It also shows what kind of toys are popular during the time they created their list.
What's on your wish list this year? Will you be creating one this year? Thank you for stopping by and I hope I was able to inspire you. See you next time.

PLANNING WITH SO MUCH PUN | with Anabelle

It is so much fun revisiting the So Much Pun collection in my Daily Doodle this month. I loved this collection from the moment I saw it and still reach for it when I want something whimsical. My favorite part of this line is the fact that there are so many themes within in. Today, I created two spreads for my Traveler's Notebook. They are each so different, yet all of the items are from So Much Pun! Here is the first spread. I used the candy and sweets elements to design my May calendar. How yummy is this???
I used several of the stickers from the Mini Icons sheet, along with stickers from the This and That sticker sheet. The candy washi is one of my favorites. I love the coordinating papers, too. I used papers from the 6 by 6 pad and added them to the page, as well. The striped paper made a perfect border. I tucked some of the die cuts into my front pockets. They add a really sweet touch to my planner.
My next spread is one that I designed so that I can write notes for work. I have a large teacher planner to do my daily plans, but like to keep my Daily Doodle close by to jot down my to do lists as I think of them.
The grid pages are perfect to do this. As you can see, this spread has a completely different look. I pulled the sweet plants and went with a pink and green theme here. The Teensy Type stickers were a perfect way to add titles to the sections on this spread. I love how the pink border sticker ties it all together.
My planner spreads wouldn't be complete without clips! So Much Pun has the most adorable Doodle Pops to coordinate with the line. The gumball machine is probably my new favorite clip! And since all of Doodlebug's collections coordinate so well, I was able to use this Doodlepop from the Simply Spring collection. It worked perfectly with the sweet plant stickers from So Much Pun. They are so easy to make. I simply hot glue them to a paper clip and add a punched circle to the back. They add so much to the design.
As you can see, I was able to create two very different designs for my Daily Doodles using just the So Much Pun collection. It's versatile! I know I'll be coming back to it again soon.

STAMPING IN PLANNERS | with Anabelle

Have you gotten bit by the Planner Stamping Bug yet? I certainly have! When I first received my Doodlebug stamps, I couldn't wait to use them in my planner. The grid notebooks are perfect for doing so. I decided to use the adorable You're Sweet Doodle Stamps in my notebook this week to create a weekly spread. It turned out exactly as I hoped it would!

Having a blank grid to play with makes creating my layouts so easy! I started with the notebook stamp from the set. I thought it would be perfect for creating a little list for each day of the week.
After I stamped them, I added Teensy Type stickers for the days of the week and the dates.

The floral stamps from this set are really my favorites! As soon as I saw them, I thought of last year's Hello collection. I decided to use the same colors from the collection and colored the flowers accordingly using my colored pencils.
I love the way they look with the floral stickers from the Hello Icon Sticker sheets. They add a fun touch to the layout.
I ended by doodling a banner and adding a few more stickers. The sweet birds were just the right touch here.
It was really fun to try something new in my planner and I love how it turned out. Do you use stamps in your planner or journal? The Doodle Stamps really are perfect for making your pages extra special!

NSD 2019 | Dressing Up your Planner Cover with Shellye

How has everyone's (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day been going, have you been crafting up a storm? I have a fun dress-me-up in progress at the moment and have started with the front cover of my Daily Doodles Travel Planner.
First things first - I attached a band super cute green and white polka dot ribbon and matching bow.To adhere the ribbon I've used a permanent fabric adhesive and carefully tucked it under the scallop edge of the planner.
Next, I embellished the elastic closure with a tassel and handmade charm using one of the Jelly Clips.  To make the charm: I removed the paperclip with a craft knife.
Using the "sun" die from oh boy! doodle cuts, I die cut a yellow piece of felt and then attached it to the back of the jelly clip icon.

All of the pieces were added to a lobster claw clip and hung from the elastic!

I hope I've given you some inspiration for decorating your planner cover. Thanks for stopping by!

Now, we just now you are going to ask how Shellye made that incredible bow so we are one step ahead of you! Actually we wanted to know too so we asked Shellye if she had a tutorial and guess what? She does!

HOPPY EASTER | Daily Doodles Travel Planner with Jomelle

Do you like to change your planner set up frequently according to your mood or upcoming holiday?  I know Easter is over but it's more fun having an Easter theme set up in my Lots O' Dots Daily Doodles so I don't want to change it up just yet.
I had a hippity hoppity fun stuffing my planner pockets.
I just thought the bunny hugging the carrot is the cutest little thing. So I decided to use it as my center point of my insert cover.

I used my punch from my stash to create the purple and pink tag. I added the flower sprinkles and twines to finish it off. I inserted both of them behind to add a little layer. The pink doily also add a little egg-tra layer. I only used washi tape to adhere them so they can be pulled out and I can add a little journaling later on.
April Monthly layout using mostly the mini icons stickers which is the perfect size for any layout in your daily doodles inserts.
Do you enjoy watching your kids during the egg-hunt? I love seeing their happy faces every time they find an egg, especially if it's a very special egg with special surprise inside.
I don't feel so eggs-tra special since I have to work during Easter weekend. Since I work night shift, I will try to celebrate Easter Sunday with my family whenever I wake up from my beauty sleep.
So many egg-citing Easter Embellishments to get your crafty on.
 Thank you for stopping by.

SIMPLY SPRING | Daily Doodles Planner Pages with Anabelle

Many of my recent posts have shown how I love to decorate the front pockets of my Daily Doodles TN. Today, I'm taking a different approach. My back pockets have been feeling quite lonely, so I decided to dress them up and show them off. I love how they turned out.

I decided to use the cards from the Simply Spring Card Pack to design my back pockets. All I needed to do was flip them upside down and stitch the sides. Voila, they turned into a pocket.

For this pocket, I added a die cut from the Simply Spring Odds and Ends pack. I tucked a couple of clips, some sprinkles and my washi tape card into the pocket. Then, I adhered it to the back of my last insert.
To create my washi card holder, I used some leftover packaging. The cardstock from the Sprinkles was perfect. I adhered a piece of paper and a die cut to cover the text. Then I wrapped the washi around it several times. Now I can carry my washi with me wherever I go!
For the back pocket of my notebook, I created a paper insert to tuck into the pocket at the top. I cut the paper to 4 by 10 inches, folded over the top part and tucked it into the pocket. Then, I adhered another stitched pocket to the paper. It makes a pretty background for the pocket and can easily be removed and placed into another Daily Doodle.
I added some Chit Chats and Odds and Ends to this pocket as well. Using foam adhesive to pop up some of the elements gives it a great look. Now my Lots O Dots Daily Doodles is complete. It is decorated from front to back and is ready for Spring. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you got some ideas on how you might decorate your Traveler's Notebook.

Christmas Town Planner Pages | with Nathalie

I am so excited to finally share my Daily Doodles travel planner with you which I had so much fun filling up with the new Christmas Town collection! I love the colors in this collection, especially the kraft base. The embellishments are so cute, whimsical and varied, you will love decorating your notebooks with it!
Since December is fast approaching I decided to organize myself in one of my Doodlebug planner inserts. I started by making a gift list and then had the idea to create a Holiday bucket list:
For the gift list, I made a table with a black marker (super easy thanks to the grid design!) with columns for names, ideas, done and w. for wrapped. I added the title with some Teensy Type alpha stickers in Ladybug and decorated the rest of the page with some Mini Icons and Icons stickers.
For the candy cane border, I trimmed the side of the Mini Icons sheet. Oh, and don't forget to include your own wish list! :)
On the left page, I made a "bucket list" using more Mini Icons stickers to illustrate a list of things I want to do during the Holidays. For the title in the center, I combined a diecut from the Chit Chat pack with my own handwriting and a Santa sticker (also from the Mini Icons sheet). This was fun and now I am very much looking forward to December!
Supply List: Mint Daily Doodles travel planner, Daily Doodles inserts, Christmas Mini Clothespins, Festive Flurry Sprinkles, Holiday Cheer Jelly Clips, Christmas Town Chit Chat, Christmas Town Mini Icon stickers, Christmas Town Icons stickers, assorted Christmas Town 12x12 cardstocks, Teensy Type stickers in Ladybug, Doodle Twine in Beetle black, Christmas Town Odds & Ends, Snow Much Fun Shape Sprinkles

Here are a few more things that I am planning to add in this insert: a spot with everyone's sizes for clothing purchases, a list for Christmas card writing/mailing, a to-do list, a calendar with events and deadlines, menu/treats ideas... and of course, they will all be embellished with Christmas Town!
I fell so motivated thanks to my notebook and this new collection and I hope to have inspired you to get creative and productive as well!
