LOVE NOTES NOTEOOKS | with Anabelle

Is there anything as pretty as hearts and flowers? Not in my book! This is why I adore the Love Notes collection. These are some of the prettiest flowers and motifs ever and my girly side was so happy to be able to create with them. For today's project, I decided to design a set of notebooks that I could house in my planner. You can never have enough notebooks. I decided to create little covers for each of my Travel Planner notebooks. They are cute enough to carry around on their own! Here's how the set of three turned out.
Aren't these colors amazing? The mix of pinks, red and yellow are just perfect! These are such a wonderful pick me up for this time of the year! Looking at them just make me smile.

They were really easy to make. First, I chose patterned papers that I wanted to use. I knew that I wanted to use the flowers as my embellishments, so I chose polka dots and stripes as my background. Since the notebooks are 8.25" high, I cut the paper to 8.25 by 12" long.  I folded the paper in half and slid the notebook inside. Then, I folded the flap over the edges of the notebook. This holds the cover on the booklet. The nice part is that they are easily removable and I can add a new cover when I want to. I finished each cover off with a strip of paper that I cut with scalloped scissors. I added some trim and a border sticker, as well. I love how it gives the set a cohesive design.

On this first notebook, I added a sticker from the This and That sticker sheet. Next, I added some floral die cuts. I added them with foam adhesive which gives them a pretty layered look. I used some heart shaped sprinkles, too.
This next notebook uses the heart shaped flower wreath die cut. I added it with foam adhesive and placed another heart shape die cut in the center. More shape sprinkles finished off the look.
This last one is my favorite. I created a spray of flowers using the die cuts from the I Pick You pack. I layered them together and added some foam adhesive to several of them. Then I finished them off with the sprinkle dots. I love how bright and fun it looks!
As you can see, these notebooks were quick and easy to create. I'll be carrying mine in my Daily Doodles TN, but they could easily be used for teacher gifts or for anyone who enjoys planning and list making.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my floral notebooks today! Happy Creating!
