I’m so excited to share the absolute CUTEST mini album featuring the Lucky Me collection! The bright colors and sweet rainbow icons instantly inspired me to create something playful and interactive — and a 7x4 inch spiral-bound mini felt like the perfect way to bring it all together.
The colors in this collection are pure happy, so I knew right away my cover needed to be bold. I created a large shaker using the rainbow drops acetate and filled it with two shakers mixes — spring flowers and rainbow bright. I tucked in a few flowers from the All the Things pack, stitched the shaker closed with pink thread (because everything is cuter with stitching 💕), and finished it off with a die cut word title, flowers, and the super cute lucky lady icon sprinkle. I also added trims and the lucky charm charm clip to the spiral binding for that extra little detail that makes it feel special.
For the inside pages, I mixed patterns from the collection to create a variety of 7x4 base pages, pocket pages, and interactive flip elements.
On my first page, I created a flip-out by trimming the clover patch paper to 4x12 inches and scoring at 7 inches to form a 5-inch flap. I used a scallop punch along the edge to add a fun decorative detail. Both the inside and outside of the flap include space for a 3.5" square photo and a 3x4 photo — my favorite sizes to work with! I finished the page with icon stickers and puffy icons for dimension and texture.
For the envelope page, I used the green envelope from the Cards & Envelopes Rainbow Assortment pack and stitched a border all the way around for added detail. I adhered it to a 1.5x4 inch strip of patterned paper so the flap could still open. Inside, I added three 4x3 photos matted on patterned papers and decorated the flap with the Love You Doodle-pop. On the back side of the envelope, I added a 4x3 photo and embellished with die cuts, stickers, and the cutest little puffy ladybug.
Another favorite page features a flip-up element created from the journaling piece in the Color Me Happy paper. I folded it in half and adhered it to the right side of the base page to create a flap. On the outside, I layered die cuts with foam adhesive for dimension and added sprinkles for a playful touch. Inside, I left space for journaling and placed a small 2.5" square photo next to it.
I just love how this album came together — it’s bright, interactive, full of texture, and so much eye candy! I can't wait to fill it up with photos from this Spring.
