SNOW MUCH FUN TRIFOLD MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity, and today I’m sharing a trifold mini album using the Snow Much Fun Collection by Doodlebug. No chipboard is needed for this project, which makes it quick, fun, and perfect for using up your patterned papers -plus, it holds lots of photos!

Let's get started! I began by cutting the Snow Much Fun patterned paper.  Cut to: 8” x 12”
Score at: 4” and 8” on the 12” side. This created a simple trifold base.

For my album, I used the blue polka-dot side for the outside cover, and the other side for the inside. From the Snow Much Fun coordinating cardstock pack (bubble blue) I cut three mattings ¾” x 7 ¾”.  I Adhered one mat to each inside panel of the trifold, leaving an even border all the way around. To create the extra flip in the center, I started with Wintery Woods paper Cut to: 7 ½” x 7”, Score at: 3 ½” on the 7” side.

This created a flip page that opens to the left. Before adhering it to the center mat, I added a strip of ribbon/trim underneath so the album can tie closed. I made sure the snowflake side with the trees is facing outward when attaching it.

On the left inside panel:
I added a strip of the scalloped border sticker along the mat.
From the 6x6 paper pad, I trimmed several small tags (I used six), and I tied each tag with white twine.
Next I embellished the tags using Mini Icons, Puffy Icons, and Cardstock Stickers. These added texture without making the album bulky.

On the front of the center flip page:
I added the “Just Chilling” sticker from the 12x12 cardstock sticker sheet. I embellished with the Snow Much Love Shaker Pop - so cute!

Inside this flip section, I added four 3” x 3” photo mats, creating small clusters at the top for decoration.
On the right panel, I created two flip-up cards.  To do this I cut two pieces: 3” x 6”, scored at: 3” on the 6” side. These flips allow space for a total of four 3” x 3” photos.

I embellished lightly using: Mini stickers, Puffy icons
and Small embellishments. Since this album doesn’t have a spine, keeping layers minimal helps it close nicely.I also added the remaining scalloped border sticker underneath these flip pages.

On the outside (polka dot side) I added ribbon o tie the album closed.
I layered the center decoration using white cardstock: approx. 7 ½” x 3 ½” and Wintery Woods paper,  approx. 3 ¼” x 7 ¼”.

I finished the cover with jewels from the Snow Much Fun collection. A penguin sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet, and the adorable Sweet Snowbirds Doodle-Pop.

This mini album can easily hold 10 photos, and you can always add more flip pages if you’d like.
Best of all, no chipboard, no wrapping, no binding required. Just paper, stickers, glue, and a scoring board.

I hope this project inspires you to create a quick and cozy winter mini album using your Snow Much Fun supplies. Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
