Tuesday Tutorial: Bag in a Box

Hi everyone, Lori here and I'm excited to fill in for today's Tuesday Tutorial. We're so excited to be featured Scor-Pal this week on the Doodlebug Blog and I'm super excited that you all have a chance to win some Scor-pal and Doodlebug goodies.

Today I'm showing you how to make this darling Bag in a Box. This is not my design at all, I am a huge fan of a darling blog called The Little Blue Room. She does all sorts of tutorials and darling projects that you'll all go CRAZY over. So be sure to check out here blog and even her tutorial on this Bag in a Box project.

You'll need to cute the following:

5" x 11" Black & White Polka Dot Paper

1" x 11" Red Petite Pattern Paper

4 1/2" x 4 1/2" Petite Pattern Paper

Using your Scor-Pal board, score the 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" square 1" on all four sides. Score and cut as shown in image below.

Assemble your box "base" using strong adhesive. Then you'll take your black and white paper strip and adhere that all the way around the base and adhere down the side to create a sort of cone.
Using a border punch or scalloped scissors to punch one edge of the red petite print 1" x 11" strip.
Punch out two tab punches if you have this awesome Stampin' Up punch, if not two circle punches glued together would look cute too.
Then you'll want to embellish the front of your Bag with some yummy
Doodle-Pops and Doodle Twine.

Then fill our Bag in a Boxes with some treats or lotion and nail supplies. I'll be surprising a
couple of friends with these sweet little gifts.

Be sure to catch me on my Inspired by Pinterest show
over on My Craft Channel this week (Thursday)
as I host a friend and feature Scor-Pal, fun scoring ideas and another fun giveaway!!
