6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 3 WINTER WONDERLAND MINI ALBUM | with Jen

Hi Everyone!  I'm back with more pages from my winter wonderland mini album featuring the new 6x8 mini albums and the Snow Much Fun collection.   If you missed my first posts, you can find my cover post here, and my first pages here.  The new Doodlebug albums come with heavy chipboard inserts. There are five tabbed albums and the new paper collections, starting with Tinsel Time, have perfectly sized tab stickers on the This and That sticker sheet!

For my inserts I matted them with a combination of the 12x12 Snow Much Fun papers and some coordinating Petite Prints in Lilac, Pistachio, and Bubble Blue. I used the fold over tabs from the Bits and Pieces.

The chipboard inserts are sturdy enough for any elements or embellishments. On two of the inserts I added a small waterfall. I used the cut-aparts to mat them both. Another fun way to add more photo space to your albums is to add photo flips. On two of the inserts I added a tri-fold photo mat that I tied shut with some Lilac Doodle Twine.

On the last insert I used the tag paper to make a photo flap. I decorated the insert with Chit Chat and Puffy Icons.

I have a process video showing how I made my waterfalls and flips here.

I'll be back in a couple of weeks to bring you my final pages!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS PART 3 WINTER WONDERLAND PAGES | with Traci

Hi friends! I'm back to share more fun pages from inside my Build a Snowman Winter Scrapbook. (If you missed my other posts, be sure to check out the cover and the first set of layouts.) I designed them with the 6x8 Mini Album in swimming pool and the adorable Winter Wonderland Collection.

Today's first layout is a fold-out page. On the front of the flap, I added the pink snowflake print called Winter Wonderland. It's so pretty and has glitter accents! I love the sweet animals in this collection so, I made this cute 3x4 reindeer card the center of attention.

I adhered the card to the front of a flippie that I made with white card stock. Then, I added beautiful plaid photo mats inside. The 3x4 card and the plaid print are from the Cozy Cardigan pattern paper

Open the fold-out and inside, there are pretty colors, snowflakes, and a cute rabbit. On the left, I used both sides of the Snowflowers with Glitter Accents paper and added the "winter" die cut from the Chit Chat.

On the right, I covered the flap in the pink Winter Wonderland paper. I created a mat from the Snowflowers paper to cover the backside of the flippie that was on the front. Then, added some Odds & Ends die cuts.

This next layout is 1 of the 4 pocket pages that come in the album. I used the pink Winter Wonderland print on the base, then added the Snowflowers paper to the front of the pocket. I created a tri-fold card for photos and tucked that inside but you can also use the pockets for memorabilia.

Here's a look at the tri-fold card with space for 7 photos, front and back. I decorated it with the Polar Plaid paper (Frosty Friends Collection), a plaid scalloped border sticker (This & That), and die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat.

This layout is perfect for fun memories in the snow. I covered the page with a colorful snowflake print called Snow Wonder and created a photo mat out of the blue Nightfall paper. Then, I added a few snowmen and snowflake die cuts from the Odds & Ends and three word stickers from the This & That sheet.

The album comes with 10 assorted clear page protectors. Above is one that's divided into two 4x6 inch spaces. In the top section, I added the Just Chillin' snowman paper as a photo mat, a word bubble from the Chit Chat, some enamel heart shape sprinkles, and snowmen from the Snow Family shape sprinkles.

Below, I created a flippie with the 12x12 Sweater Weather print and added the "Love this" arrow sticker. Then, I decorated the front and back edge with the pink scalloped border from the This & That sticker sheet.

Inside, I added 3 photo mats and more
cute snowmen sprinkles. This scrapbook is going to be the perfect keepsake for all of my winter photos.

I hope these pages inspire you to create your own memory keeper with Doodlebug's 6x8 inch Mini Album. Next time, I'll be sharing my last five pages of this mini. Until then, happy scrappin'. 😊

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - DECEMBER ALBUM PART 3 | with Erica

Hello, crafty friends! I’m back to share more pages from my 6x8 album using the adorable Tinsel Time Collection.  This collection has been an absolute joy to work with! If you missed my previous posts, you can find my cover post here, and my first pages here.

For today’s pages, I wanted to create something playful and dimensional, focusing on cut files, layering, and pops of color. I started with a mix of white cardstock, coordinating Tinsel Time cardstock, and 12x12 patterned paper to set the foundation for both layouts. From there, I brought in some fun cut files!

The first page features a Christmas light wreath, which turned out to be the perfect centerpiece. I sized it down to fit within the page and backed it with a mix of 6x6 and 12x12 papers from the collection, creating a bright and festive effect. To bring it all together, I added two photo mats right in the middle, popping them up with foam adhesive for extra dimension. Below the photos, a bold chit-chat title piece that says "Christmas" anchors the design, making it feel balanced. To finish it off, I tucked in icon stickers, a chit-chat ephemera piece, and some enamel dots for that extra bit of sparkle!

The second page is all about bold typography and layering. I used the Deck the Halls cut file as the star of the page, backing each letter with patterned papers from the collection. The mix of colors and prints makes the design so fun and eye-catching! I placed two small photo mats over the design and layered in floral embellishments, puffy stickers, and greenery to create a full, festive feel.

I’m absolutely loving how this album is coming together! Knowing that I’m getting a head start on my Christmas 2025 album makes me so excited, having these pages prepped and ready to fill with memories and photos is going to be such a treat when the holiday season rolls around.

I hope this inspires you to play with cut files, layering, and bright colors in your own albums! There’s something so satisfying about creating pages that are interactive and full of personality. I can’t wait to share more of this project soon so stay tuned for the next set of pages!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 3 DOODLE-POP STORAGE | with Karen

This weekend, it was time to get back to my new self care project - my Doodle-pop sticker book. So that means that I get to share some new pages and new ideas with you!  If you missed my first two posts you can find my cover post here and my first pages here.

For this section of my album, I wanted to focus on some of my favourite animal characters so I started off with the adorable toucan that coordinated with the papers I chose as the main theme for the album from the Seaside Summer collection.

Remembering that the goal of my sticker books is to be able to remove the Doodle-pops if I ever decide I can part with them (as if), I thought I would play around with some more ways to make that happen. On this little page, I used a divider from the album as the base and then just used one strip of Doodlebug Swiss Dot washi tape across the front to hold the Doodle-pop on place. The washi tape easily peels off of the Doodle-pop but still holds it firmly in place. And I used some brown polka dot print and strategically placed it so it looked a little bit like a tree branch that the toucan was perched upon! A few die cuts from the Odds and Ends packs also add a little more stability by overlapping on top of the Doodle-pop. I just used some foam adhesive to give them a bit of volume making sure not to put the adhesive on the Doodle-pop. But let's be real - this little layout and Doodle-pop are so darn cute, they are never leaving this album!

On to the next page! For this set, I actually wanted to try something completely different. I wanted to see if there was a way I could do away with the packaging completely and still be able to remove the Doodle-pop later if I wanted to. To do this, I decided to grab some release paper!

Now here's the thing with release paper though - nothing really sticks to it...so that is both good and bad in this context. If you were to put the Doodle-pop right on the release paper, it would just slide off. So to counteract this a bit, I added a strip of washi tape to the release paper, wrapping it around the back and overlapping it so it stayed in place. Then I placed the Doodle-pops so that they are partially on the washi tape and partially on the release paper. The Doodle-pops come off of the washi tape quite easily as well, but also provide enough "grab" to keep them on the release paper.

I simply trimmed them down and backed each one with some Petite Prints paper in Buffalo Plaid/Wood Grain and was all set! These give a really clean and simple look to the page. So there you go - a couple of new ways that you can utilize washi tape to help you keep the Doodle Pops in your new sticker album! I hope it will inspire you to get that collection on display! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 3 OUR HAPPY FAMILY | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm sharing a few more pages in my Family 6x8 Mini Album. If you missed my first 2 posts, you can see my cover post here and my first pages here. I'm really enjoying putting these pages together and all of the opportunities to use up the Farmhouse collection. These 6x8 Mini Albums come with page protectors, dividers and even dividers with pockets so you can create so many different pages in each album. Here's another look inside mine:

The pocket page on the left is the backside of the page from my last blog post. I created these two pockets using the 6x6 Paper Pad, Odds & Ends pack and the 12x12 Cardstock Sticker sheet. I also included a few of the Flower Farm Shape Sprinkles stickers. Super simple and these photos of my kiddos are so cute.

For the other side, I decided to add my photos and embellishments right onto one of the dividers. I used a couple of papers from the 6x6 Paper Pad and layered them behind my photos. I embellished around the page using a few of the Odds & Ends pieces as well as the Farm Assortment Sprinkles. This little series of photos are of my Annie girl eating breakfast and watching Little House on the Prairie with me. She loves to see the horses and gets so excited when she sees them on screen.

Here's an overview of the next two pages:

For the left page, I took the Fall Floral 12x12 paper and cut into the bottom left corner at an angle. When I went to adhere it to the divider, I only added adhesive on the left and bottom portion so that it created a little pocket. I was then able to tuck in my photos and one of the cut parts from the Colors of Fall 12x12 patterned paper. You could also tuck in memorabilia, journaling or other fun keepsakes into these simple pockets!

Here's a look at the facing page. I fussy cut some tags from the B side of the Buffalo Plaid 12x12 patterned paper and added some Doodlebug Twine through each one. For two of them, I added photos and a few Mini Icons stickers and then for the third, I embellished on it using the adorable Busy Bees Doodle-Pop stickers. I tucked all 3 tags into one of the pocket dividers that are included with this album and decorated the pocket using some patterned paper and a phrase from the Chit Chat pack. Super simple!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you are enjoying the progress on my album! I know I'm having a great time creating it. I'll see you next time friends!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - XOXO ALBUM PART 2 | with Tarrah

Love is in the air.....I don't know about you but I love documenting my LOVE story! The 6" x 8" albums are perfect for adding memories and keeping them together in one convenient beautiful album! If you missed my first post, featuring my cover, you can see it here.

I used the gorgeous Lots of Love collection to hold lots of my recent LOVE memories, decorating the album chipboard pieces, clear pocket pages and pockets too! I also created my own pockets to store tags, memorabilia and photos in. In the photo below, I created pockets behind both the photo and the journal card to put the tags in. I also machine-stitched the edges of these before I adhered them to the page.

In the clear pocket pages, I placed another photo in the bottom right corner and a journal card to the left. At the top, I cut up one of the papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad and then placed a die-cut on the top of the pocket using craft foam for some dimension.

On the left I made another pocket and tucked in some tags, for this spread, I kept to a floral theme, adding stickers and die-cuts and I love how it turned out.

For the spread below I chose a delivery/sending theme, adding lots of the mail themed items in the pockets, on the right-hand side I tucked in some memorabilia including a beautiful card and a love note from my partner.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check back here to see more of the insides of the albums from the Doodlebug Design Team! Happy creating!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 2 LOTS OF LOVE ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty crew! With January nearly in it's last week, one of my favorite celebrations draws close; February 14th! Valentine's Day, yay! I'm creating a special album for all my date nights and special celebrations with just my husband and I! I have some many fun and joyful foodie pictures, couples selfies and memorabilia gathered up, it all needs a special album! It will be full and super fun to go through once it's all completed. So please scroll through, enjoy my post and at the end you can see a fun video showcase! If you missed my first post, you can see it here

The first page is the thick heavy duty chipboard tab divider. It has it's own tab and ready to decorate! With my divider page, I decorated it with Lots of Love ephemera pieces from Odds & Ends and Chit Chat. That darling cloud paper is perfectly named Cloud Nine, look at all the cute faces!

At the back of the divider, I covered the back with the paper Sprinkled with Love and adhered a ladybug envelope from the Cards & Envelope coordinating pack from Lots of Love and added the cutest ladybug couple, some Sprinkles in a cluster and inside the envelope is the card that I can add hidden journaling inside! Neat!

Next page over is the clear page protector. Ten are included in each album! Funtastic! I've added some shaker bits from my stash and machine stitched all the way down to hold the shaker in place. Then on the left side I created a page with the Tag cut apart paper Just For You. See how versatile a tag cut apart can be! I cut the notches and punched the holes so it's a great base piece.

The next page over that I've decorated is one of the four included Inserts. It matches the colour of my album Cupcake. The notepad paper ephemera pieces are so fun and I love these from the Bits & Pieces ephemera packs! So many fun elements to choose from.

The flip side above is a hidden spot under the word Sweetheart. Don't you just love those cherries! I'm obsessed. And the adorable tea cup has a removable tea bag! Extra cuteness!

My last page for today is the awesome Pocket Page, you generously get four of these inside each 6x8 album! How charming! I've decorated this page with the Showered With Love patterned paper, an adorable pilot in his airplane ephemera piece and tucked in another envelope and card from the Cards and Envelopes pack! See those sweet mini envelopes flying around!

Thanks for checking in to see my first few pages, I cannot wait to show you more! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time doodle dee!
