HAPPY HEALING MINI JAR SHAPED ALBUM | with Traci

Hello friends! Traci here and today I've designed a new mini album with the adorable Happy Healing Collection. It's titled Mugs, Hugs, and Effective Drugs and it's a cheerful place to save photos of boo boos, ouchies, the flu, chicken pox, a broken bone, surgery, or any other medical condition you'd like to document.

I designed this with one of my clear jar shaped acrylic mini albums. The shape is from the Doodlebug Jar of Hearts cutting file so if you have a cutting machine, you could easily create the covers with white cardstock or chipboard.

On the outside of the acrylic cover, I added a sticker from the This & That sheet and some adorable shape sprinkles called Happy Pills. Just underneath the clear acrylic, I covered the first white cardstock page in the 12x12 pattern paper called Pilling Better. Now my jar shaped mini is filled with medicine!

Inside, I continued to layer each page with pretty 12x12 papers and made photo mats with the smaller 6x6 prints. Then, it was time to embellished with lots of cute die cut pieces from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat.

I added the cute pink polka dot bowl and chicken soup can - a classic remedy to cure what ails you. I also included a journaling card from the 12x12 paper called Spot of Kindness for notes, dates, appts, etc.

Above, I created two folding cards (aka flippies) for more photo space. I used a mix of 12x12 and 6x6 papers for these and decorated the outsides with a few pieces from the Chit Chat.

So many tiny happy pills on this 6x6 Pilling Better paper. The bright cheerful colors and the cute smiling face are sure to turn anyone's frown upside down!

This jar shaped mini album is my 4th project with the adorable Happy Healing Collection. So far, I've made 2 mini albums, 12x12 page layouts, and cards. Sooo ... can you tell I'm having fun with it? Lol!! 😂 I hope today's project inspires some great projects of your own. Happy crafting!

HAPPY HEALING DOODLE POP CARDS | with Karen

It's Doodle-pop time! Every once in awhile, I force myself to share my stash of Doodle-pops on projects. For me, they really are everything I love about Doodlebug - the cute characters, the amazing colours and all the layers that make them...well...pop. It's no wonder so many of us collect them!

And the set that is part of the Happy Healing collection are no exception. The cute Doodle-pops will brighten up any person's day, so it seemed fitting to use them on a set of get well cards!

Because I wanted the Doodle-pops to be to focus of the cards, I went for clean and simple design on top of the coordinating Cards & Envelopes. With a bit of patterned paper, a tag from the Bits & Pieces pack and a few embellishments like mini doilies and mini paper clips, these cards make the Doodle-pop the star of the show.

Which is really not hard - I mean, look at this amazing mug...the transparent velum used for the steam and the sliver spoon put it right over the top. I really try not to play favourites with my Doodle-pops, but this one might just be one of them (and it would be perfect for a variety of occasions - not just a "get well" theme).

HAPPY HEALING DOCTOR VISIT LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here again and I'm excited to share another layout using the new Happy Healing collection. Throughout my kids lives, we've gone to the doctors office so many times... And I take at least one photo during each visit. This collection gave me the perfect opportunity to document them. There are so many adorable embellishments and I've used quite a bit on this page. Here it is, I hope that you like it!

Before I even started, I wanted some bright and bold patterns on my page. I went through the 12x12 papers and ended up choosing the Cross My Heart and Plaid You're Better papers. I trimmed them down to some fun triangles and layered them together on both the top and bottom of a piece of plain white cardstock.

By choosing this design, it naturally provided a space for my photos, title and embellishments in the center of my layout. I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and arranged them right in the center. I then built embellishment clusters to the top left and bottom right of the photos using pieces from the Odds & Ends pack and the 6x12 Cardstock Sticker sheet. I really love layering all of the adorable pieces together!

I chose two phrases from the Chit Chat pack for my title and adhered them straight onto my photos. Looking at these photos always makes me smile. My son used to be so little sitting in the kid rooms and just seeing how much he had grown here, really warms my heart. Time goes by way too fast!

I then added some smaller pieces using the Puffy Icon Stickers, Happy Healing Sprinkles and the Heart Attack Shape Sprinkles. This page came together so quickly!

Here's one last look, I'm really loving these two patterned papers together. So pretty!
