Stitching Challenge: Snow Magic Layout by Caroli

Hello everybody! what's up? Caroli here and today I want to share this project I made using pretty DD twine, since we designers were challenged to use it in a creative way.

I must confess I am not a twine person, I love it, but most of the time I don't know how to use it... so this was a real challenge for me, and I loved what I made!

Here is my project:

As you can see, I used twine to create some letters on my tittle. The process was super simple: I cut the letter in thin cardboard, and then rolled the twine around it. I love the result!

I love the chunky look of my letters, they combine so welll with thin yardstick lettering I cut using Silhouette Cameo and Learning Curve font.

I used a panorama  pic I took few weeks ago, when we woke up to this gorgeous snow. It's not common to have snow in my city, so this was worth to be documented :)

I used beautiful Polar Pals collection, it was simply perfect for my pic. I created some clusters with circles I cut from patterned paper and some stickers and sprinkles.

I hope you liked this idea and give it a try, sometimes you need to think out of the box to come out with something pretty. Have an awesome day!
