Eater Bunny Layout by Melinda

Oh my... wasn't it Christmas just yesterday and yet here we are with Easter almost upon us? Not that I'm arguing as chocolate rates rather highly on my list of life's necessities and I do believe my littlest man agrees with his mum!

These photos were taken last Easter and have been on my 'to do' list ever since. So when the new Easter Parade collection hit my desk I did a little happy dance at the sight of the 'bitty bunnies' paper. It was just perfect to use as a backdrop to the photos of my very own little Easter Bunny!

I added two main clusters of embellishments that would draw the eye around the layout and in keeping with the Easter theme I used lots of sprinkles, sequins and brads to give a lolly shop feel to the layout.

My title work was created using lots of alphas as I always seem to have sheets and sheets of oddments that don't really make full words. So I created a title within a random selection of alphas which used up quite a few of my leftovers.

Now that I have finished last year's Easter photos I need to think about getting ready for the impending Easter of 2015... or perhaps I'll just leave it until the day before like I do most other years. Thanks for stopping by today and hopefully I have giving you some ideas to take with you.

Easter Basket ID Tags by Wendy Sue

Hello Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here with you today, sharing a fun little project that is sure to make the Easter Bunny (and your kiddos) happy!  If you have more than one child, and your children have identical Easter baskets, it might be confusing to the Easter Bunny and difficult for him to know which basket belongs to which child.  But, believe me, the children know which basket is theirs...so to avoid tears on Easter morning, trust me, labeling the baskets with cute little name tags is a VERY good idea!

If you're going to make name tags to label the baskets, you should definitely make them cute! And I'm pretty sure there isn't anything cuter than these little bunnies and lambs in the Easter Parade collection.

To make these cute little tags, I simply started out with some fun papers from the "Hello Sunshine" and "Easter Parade" collections.  I chose a fun tag shaped die to cut the base for each tag.  Of course, you could simply cut rectangles and notch the top two corners as well.

Next, I cut a couple of coordinating patterned papers and layered them on the tags.  I wanted them to be flush with the left edge, but not cover the entire tag all the way to the right side.  I added a cute bright glitter sprinkle to each little paper collage.

The next step was to choose four of the cute little easter critters from the sticker sheet.  Since I have three boys and one girl, I was happy there were enough boy animals!  I placed foam adhesive squares on the back of each animal sticker and added them over the layered papers.

I pulled out my favorite letter rub-ons, the jack & jill alphabet, and added names to each tag.  After that, I simply clipped a colorful mini clothespin onto each tag and tied a coordinating bow with doodle twine.

We haven't even purchased our Easter baskets for this year yet, but as soon as we do, I'll be tying the tags to each basket so the Easter Bunny will know which treats to leave in which basket!

Happy Easter!

Easter Altered House by Jennifer

Hi Doodlebug fans.  Jennifer here and today I'm sharing a fun Easter project.  I love to create little houses of all kinds and this one was no exception.  I used the Easter Parade collection along with some Hello Sunshine and other DB basics.

A cutting file was used for the mushroom, which can be found here.  I changed the design slightly by cutting out the door and curling up the ends on the roof.  I also decided to use stacked box lids for the base, instead of cutting out the base provided.  The finished size of the piece is approximately 6 1/2" x 10".
I couldn't resist using the Easter egg patterned paper for the roof and scattering it with Fun Flower, Mini Doodle Pops.
Lots of fun stickers were used from the border and icon sticker sheets. Some, like the chick and eggs were mounted to chipboard.
To finish off the project an assortment of colorful Mini Clothespins were glued to the bottom tier, along with a scalloped border.
Thanks for joining me today. Happy crafting!!!

Hoppy Easter Layout by Stephanie Buice

Hi Everyone, Stephanie here today with my Parade Easter layout.
When I opened up this collection my favorite thing right off the bat were the Bunny & Friends Reversible Easter Die Cuts. All the little characters were so cute I knew I wanted them on my layout.
Here's what I came up with,
"Hoppy Easter"

I decided to use a piece Kraft in Color collection paper as my base to because I felt like my white cardstock was too plain. The grid on the paper made it really easy to line up my letters.
I used the little bunnies at the top by my title "Hoppy Easter".

I layered some of the Easter eggs and other little animals on each side of my picture, the little lamb is so adorable! I think it's such a fun little addition to the collection.

I chose to add a little busier pattern on the bottom of my layout, this collection is full of bright and theme prints so it was hard to pick just one.

to finish off my page I typed up some journaling and cut it into strips to add underneath my photo.
I sewed them down then added some Sprinkles to them to prevent them from getting lost on my pattern paper.
This is a super easy layout to recreate and have some fun with so I hope you will give it a try.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Stephanie

Easter Treat Boxes by Kathy Skou

Hi Everyone!  It's Kathy today with some adorable treat boxes created from Doodlebug's Easter Parade Collection.  I made these for a couple of friends, but they could also be used as place cards for your Easter table!  Take a peek...

The box itself is a Lori Whitlock File I got from the Silhouette store here.  I cut the body of the box from some Doodlebug Cardstock, then created some insets using some of the fun Easter parade papers.  My favorite parts are the Bunny and Friends critters and eggs!!!  They're just so stinkin' cute!  I used some of the word stickers from the This and That Sticker sheet to label the eggs, but you could use some Teensy Type stickers to put names on them to use the boxes as festive place cards!  Here are some close-ups...

Here is the side view, the boxes are filled with some Easter grass and a couple of chocolates!
The tops are just "tied" together with a piece of scrap ribbon.
These went together really quickly and would be an easy project to mass produce for family & friends!  Well, that's all for me today.  Make sure to come back and check out all of the Easter Parade inspiration from the design team!  Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Sunday Layout by Tya Smith

Hi there Doodlebug friends - it's my turn up on the Doodlebug blog today to showcase a fun and festive Easter layout featuring the new Easter Parade line. A fun tradition that I have carried on from my own childhood  is to get a fancy new outfit for Easter Sunday. I loved going shopping with my own Mom for a frilly, beautiful dress to wear on Easter - so I had to capture the memory and tradition with my own kids.

I decided to make a little Easter scene along the bottom edge of my layout - I cut a grass border out with my Silhouette and then added some eggs and flowers and jellybean stickers from the Icon Sticker Sheet - Oh and I couldn't resist adding some of the darling animals that come with this line as well - 2 darling girly animals and one handsome little guy - just like my own kids :) Bright Glitter Sprinkles were added for a bit of dimension and sparkle.

A cute little bluebird by a birdhouse sticker added a nice touch on the side of my layout.
I then topped it all off with a few banner shapes cut from some of the lovely pattern papers and the Easter Sunday title is from the 4x4 Bunny and Friends pattern paper. I love using these for titles - so handy!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Easter Parade Cupcake Tower by Silvia

Hello, hello!!!
Easter is coming and I designed this project with Easter cupcakes.
I used the "Easter Parade" Collection; it's super cute to work
with these beautiful images!

I made a big Easter egg, and in the top I placed a cupcake.

Some carrots waiting for the Easter rabbits!!

This is the topper of my project. I used glitter in the Easter eggs.

Chickens, sheep and bunnies surround the Easter egg!! Super cute!

Green paper flourishes like part of the decoration.
My homemade cupcakes don't look so nice, but they are really yummy!!

These cupcakes look so good with the stickers of the "Easter Parade" Collecion!
I enjoy every time I work with Doodlebug products,
they inspire me in so many ways, and it's so easy!!

Thanks for stopping by and remember I love to read you!!

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on it's Way Layout by Traci

Hi everyone, it's Traci and I'm excited to be back to share an Easter Parade layout with you.  I just love Doodlebug's cute washi tape, so I decided to layer it over white card stock and cut out 4 strips (you could also just stick the washi tape directly on to your white background).  I then positioned my strips in a tic-tac-toe fashion and had tons of fun filling up each little square with Doodlebug cuteness!
I also have fallen in love with sprinkles vellum!  Although the photo does not do this justice, the sprinkle dots on the vellum add a little shine to each corner of the page.  For a bit more fun,  I added  buttons, spring flower sprinkles, and stickers.  This might possibly be one of my favorite Doodlebug layouts thanks to all of the color :)
Hope you enjoy and will stop by Artsy Albums and say hello! Traci
